Any idea on the cause of the jump today?
I was going to sell earlier - however the dip means I will wait a little longer.
@CheekyDeek
Not sure why your comment is aimed at me, when I was answering Cosm and his worry "£5k fine for going on holiday now after allowing bookings to be taken? Ridiculous way to run a country"
The fact is, the government have introduced a fine to stop people travelling for no valid reason before its safe to do so. They have made it clear on a potential date for international travel for leisure to return - (now likely to extend?) If you travel before that on leisure, then you are open to a fine.
They have been speaking about it for months. If you booked before the summer period, then I imagine you can try and get a refund. If you took the risk or didn't think about the bigger picture - that's your choice.
However, don't worry I know it's difficult to keep up.
Exactly - they also watch a film whilst attending the event (cineworld) and use the local bus service (first group) :D

@Ryisaac - There is no direct link, like there is no link to Hyve and Weddings. Its speculation, treat it as such.
@ryisaac
There is no link, just people and speculation.
Its the same as linking an article about weddings and private events to Hyve which specialises in major exhibitions. All nonsense.
He is in dream world - for me even 300 would be a push.
Time will tell...happy to be proven wrong.
@Trev
Yes you're correct, it's not logical to think the share price will return to the "old" price. Google share price does it all for you :)
However, some will argue it has more headroom due to acquisitions and expedited cost savings - more efficient fleet, crew, bases? routes? Who knows.
A lot of talk about when people are taking profits here.
However, has anyone done any analysis on what say a £2.18 share price represents in revenue, particularly vs the old share price.
IAG have already said likely -27% this year vs 2019, we all know it will be more then that. Then add in the rights issue shares, so more shares in the market.
Has anyone done those calculations?
Cannabis items in the UK, is there a market?
Why are you saying "charts are suggesting"?
Can you tell me how your chart factors in covid news? Can you tell me how your chart factors in the budget announcements. Oh wait - it can't, please stop looking at a chart and start using your head.
We all want a rise, but please don't speak rubbish.
"Yes Robbyw, It looks like 165 is resistance as it stop there twice.
Yes, may be take couple of hours to back... Brexit update is playing the market today I think..."
A prime example of why graphing has no relevance to market performances in current climate - as it has done for the last 11 months.
I've read the comments for years and never contributed. Some of us actually have day jobs :D
PS. I'm out of AML with the small money I had in them - couldn't explain the drop and it's frightened me away :)
