These results validate the view that Safecharge is well placed to expand within a burgeoning marketplace, but the margin contraction shows that profitability will occasionally be constrained by the rapidity of that expansion. Net cash equals 16 per cent of group market cap, strip it out and the enterprise/cash profit multiple is in line with the historical rating, but we think the growth will prompt a re-rating when the one-off costs are fully absorbed. Hi Tom, I did have a look at GGP but I'm not a fan of David Lenigas. His history of investments turn out to be pretty poor. https://www.*************.com/views/40542/the-new-mega-ramp-from-david-lenigas I spend £5.99 per month on this subscription to ************* and use their data to ward off investing in companies that are either fraud or ramp & dump. I wouldn't necessarily put you off but they are not for me. I do like SLP though and they have gone from 18p to 25p since I invested in them on 4th Jan 19. BOL
You may be right, but if they hadn't maintained the dividend then the crash would have been more severe. Not sure how long they can maintain it though. BOL
at best for the next 2 years IMHO, won't see a return to SP above £4 for a while yet. Better prospects elsewhere but happy to retain a small holding here. GLA
The article in the Times indicated a concern by the Govt into PSN selling poor quality homes and on leasehold terms under the HTB scheme. Last year 50% of PSN house sales were through HTB. The Govt could well refuse PSN selling future homes through HTB and certainly not through leasehold terms. Hence PSN SP hit today. Results from PSN tomorrow will be good but will they be sustainable. I'm more interested in TW results on Wednesday. GLA
The other 9 were; INL, JOG, RFX, AUGM, TMT, MERC, DRV, LIT, BMY. I was pleased that I was already invested in INL, FUM, LIT & BMY. I'm looking to buy into MERC as well. As always DYOR but I'm happy with my lot. BOL
Once a year on the first Friday in February, Simon Thompson from IC selects his 10 bargain shares for the year. This has been going since 1999 and apart from 2 occasions his selections have smashed the comparison performance of the markets. On Friday 9 of the 10 he selected increased between 5% and 14% on the day. Over the next couple of weeks they will settle down. I think most of the buys on Friday here were as a result of his article. He has a strong following and updates on small caps throughout the year. I'll update on here any article he provides over the year on FUM. BOL.
