My positions are now more underwater than the Marianas trench even though my average is £13

Pokerchips you were right should’ve waited for the Street to open which it has well down on US GDP figures and RDSB now 1126 and falling but still got reserve to buy lower though this time I might exercise a bit more patience!!

I’ve had a nibble at 1149.40 but only small as I think you’re right They’ll probably drop further I’m just reducing my WAC for an eventual bounce

Pokerchips added to which arbitrage / trading gains maybe harder to come by next quarter? Certainly made a difference in Q2 turning $644m loss into $638m profit

Dividend is $0.16 surely and $ likely lower against £ than last payment so divi closer to 4.3% at current SP

bigsmoke do you think that’s a given though and SP will only rally on long term prospects either of HSBC offering access to credit line and / or placing of shares that’s non dilutive to their interest? Maybe that’s why the SP is stuck at nominal value

That said I really hope you’re right as have my little holding tucked away that’s love to see SP fly up

RDSB stable does far today with banks taking more of the hit on impairment worries

Lot to unpack on results and trading upside is a bit of a red herring but increase in gearing largely due to write down and pension adjustments and dividend held which is some crumb of comfort

Sorry I meant EMS used to be normal market size which for NSF is I believe is 30,000 shares

I guess when you’re out of EMP the MM can charge a premium but I agree somebody obviously didn’t mind paying a decent price for a fair chunk of tge company so let’s hope they got a bargain!!

Yes 0.2% Of issues shares in one hit is a bigger buy than I’ve seen for a while

Still depressed SP but significantly more buys than sells today though no news so we shall have to see how it plays out tomorrow

Too early to call but first time for a while I saw 15 minutes of consistent buy trades albeit not large

Guess what’ll happen now I said it ....

Maybe they’ll open a book on Shell at Betfair then people can bet on whether the shares go up or down and maybe even call the price either way

I’d love to know the odds but will top up if a sharp hopefully temporary fall on results which didntvturn our to be a disaster like St James’s Place this morning (no Shareholding but used to be invested )

My bad I did see the announcement was dated 27 Jul but should’ve checked the time
I used to trade in the US markets and their announcements are often “after hours” so old habits etc... delighted you in that share and are making money. I’ve not got a lot in NSF it’d just be nice to be right for once as heavy into RDSB but thankfully not anywhere near as high an average as some but still out of the money as of now. Apologies if my post confused others on this BB will be more careful next time and stay on piste

I see they got an extension of their lending waiver and shares up 34.4% this morning

Be lovely to get some positive news on NSF and see a similar SP reaction

I overslept this morning and missed 4.99p offered

Well done FatBoy97 you’re in at a decent price I must say. I’m in at 5.83 and at this rate may average down particularly if the offer dips below 5.00 as it may well do in the absence of any positive news

Feeling a bit miffed I didn’t slip out at 7.5 but if I had I’m sure the price would’ve gone to 10-15 knowing my luck ;-) GLA and keep eyes on RNS

Really need RNS or some other news but I guess the lower it goes the more upside for the brave

A lot of furloughed pi have been ploughing money into the market, especially techs and ii have eschewed bonds in favour of equity too so valuations and hope value has been running ahead of the real economy but that’ll unwind as the realisation that Covid-19 has got its claws into us well and truly begins to soak in

I too am pencilling in £15 as the upside in 2020 maybe £17.50 next year and £20 in 2022 but only if there’s a modest increase in dividend to maintain premium yield at 4% which is I think above current FTSE average to offset commodity risk

Pity I didn’t put all the money I invested in RDSB in Silver ETF in April as test of QE has almost melted tge noble metals but demand for oil going to be slow to recover as production cuts will absorb ant increase for the medium term

I’m a holder but like a junkie will take a quick fix on any sharp price drop on Q2 results looking for a 5% to 10% bounce if it’s offered while holding the rest for at least 12-18m

One trade at 5.83 though was sorely tempted to add today will wait until next week but as has been said on this BB a lot of pi in at lower levels probably out by now and though tempted I didn’t think 7.5 was enough for the risk v reward I’d taken
At other extreme I hold a lot of shell averaged at 13.28 some of which I was going to liquidate to go harder into NSF but it’s fallen to 11.92 so I’m going to sit tight until next week when I can buy Some without selling The other GLA and happy weekend away from screens!
