Thank you for the link Max. The trickle down from 3p has been miserable indeed, but the heights and how fast we got there seem to have caught a lot of attention. Hooray!

Were we in the Daily Mail? Crikey, fame!

I invested in Softcat a few years ago and noticed how much the company name helped with publicity: a cool name makes it easy for reporters to write catchy headlines. Whenever Alien Metals catches press attention in the future we will get double the exposure thanks to our cool company name and ticker. Even our logo is impressive!
Of course a crappy company that is smartly presented will not make it. Luckily we Aliens are sitting on a gem.

The day before UFO shot up to 3p, the share price was 0.84p; right now it's 1.26p . . . that's exactly a 50% rise, in less than 6 weeks. That'll do.

The two days before the placing, UFO went up 18% and 15%! It certainly felt like lift-off. The management saw we were shooting upwards and decided we could carry the placing . . . sadly gold and silver took a dive (a big dive) just as the placing came out. They will go up again eventually, and in the meantime clever UFO has got copper and iron ore interests.

The annual meeting is in two days time. Maybe there will be an announcement on the spending plan for the money raised today. Fingers crossed.

People who bought UFO yesterday knew that the price of gold and silver was going to go up a decent amount today. But how did they know?? !! They are either very old and wise, or brilliant. Good luck to them and everyone else.

The price of gold was rising for several months before Coronavirus arrived, and then rose much quicker when it did arrive, with silver following. I think it was the excitement of a precious metal rush that caused UFO shares to skip up 200% in 6 days in October. I would very interested to hear other explanations for that crazy rise . . . and wouldn't it be nice if it happened again!!

If the offer of 5.5p gets a 'No' vote, we shareholders should have an alternative offer to put to Anglo American.
I'd be willing to give them 80% to 90% of my shares free of charge. Then we could all move forward on the trail of polyhalite as one big happy family under the Sirius Minerals company name.
I know Anglo American doesn't want to powershare, but you don't always get what you want.
(To be clear, I'm a minnow, £4500 invested last year, only £1500 of that left .)
