Still not convinced the consolidations, poor managemen and SP peformance are part of a deliberate plan to go private. Why consoladate? We now have just over the minimum amount needed to be a PLC and we are at rock bottom share price.
Sale I can live with anything above 1.5 p I'll take. What does delist entail? Do we still get money for our shares?
Why would they not inform us what the issues are with the EPC? After all we are the owners too.
@Skycity did he really put that as a response? If he did what a C**t
If it delists and we keep our shares. Will the company still be able to do equity raises?
May seem a silly question but why can we not get another company to build the mine? Hope we are speaking to other construction companies on the side to hedge against SEPCO. I don't realistically feel this project will progress with them involved clearly delaying things.
Didn't know Ann was leaving. Wonder if it's because she knows we're f**ked?
@LT the share price wouldn't rocket if talks were not announced before the deal was done. This is exactly what happened with Sirius when Anglo American the deal was negotiated with SP @ 2p.
Companies like KP2 (exploratory companies with no income) have no leverage/choice with who they choose to deal with. If the companies that are interested are all Chinese then we have to deal with them in order to progress and the big boys know this.
Not trying to be negative but no matter how positive the RNS reads the EPC and finance has not been agreed and a takeover is still very much a possibility.
Hope I'm wrong, but if not as long as buy out is above 1.5p I'll take it.
@Jiving i'd kill for 3p. Be happy just to get my money back and get 1.5p.
I hope you're right because this whole delay due to epc contractual issues seems fishy to me.
Why is it the least of our worries that the Government are taking companies licenses and awarding them to Chinese companies? I maybe missing something but that's exactly what they have threatened us with too except this proves they've got the b***s to do it. As far as i am aware the mining minister is happy (for now) the prime minister is the one who said he is looking at other companies to complete the build.
Even more of a reason for the Chinese to want to buy us out.
We just need SP to follow suit too. Ha!
I'm with Hargreaves Landsdown too.
@beardozer well said.
Merry Christmas, hopefully if we are all good next year Santa will give us a £1 share price. Ha!
If the minister is so happy, why is the Prime Minister looking for potash partners and willing to go to arbitration?
So let me get this straight I/we lost 2/3 of our shares for a company's assests that we have now sold? Do we still have the facilities in Romania?
Let's see what the minister says.
Got a horrible feeling about this outcome. I hope it is just nerves.
