PAD, saw you tipping this over on the TLW board yesterday and decided to have a look see. Liked what I saw and the direction company is going, plus a lot of positive vibes on Twitter etc.

So managed to get in at 4p on the nose. Glad I did now! :)

Fully agree with all listed there. There are some great posters in here which make me stick around when so much trash is talked on here on a regular basis.

Mav, your positivity is admirable, but despite shorts buying back we are still stuck in this range. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if this closes down, or we have a cr@p UT after close.

Believe me when I say this, I want a breakout as much as anyone.

Totally agree that patience will be rewarded here. Lots of people expect instant cash these days, this isn't a bookies, it's an investment.

Stability in the SP was needed, as this was swinging wildly for months. I'll admit it is a bit frustrating that we are pegged in this range atm, but I do feel that this will begin to gain traction within the next month providing oil data remains positive and POO keeps increasing steadily.

If you aren't confident the the share then get out if you can and invest elsewhere.

Oh and people who keep comparing us th PMO, they are shorted by almost 20%.

Shorts reduced yet again. Now at 8.18%. That's quite a bit bought back from 9.48% just a few days ago.

Hopefully this is the start of the SP finally being let go. They must realise it's suicide to stay in the way Brent is going....I hope so anyway :)

I see a load of green on this board as per the usual Sunday antics of one man's crusade to will the SP down to 20p. I just don't understand why he thinks this is a better buy at 20p than 25p if the company is going nowhere. What difference does it make? LMAO.

He may get 20p one day, after all a blind squirrel will find the occasional nut.

Tend to agree that it gets pretty tedious and clogs up the thread. Today has been a little better than most though, with some constructive argument and useful links being posted.

Until someone says they sold up, made a profit and slate the share on their way out! Lol!

I agree re: the negative comments when they are valid points. It's the deliberate negative throw away comments intended to disrupt/spook that wind people up.

I'm all for constructive conversation for or against and a little banter along the way too.

Some great constructive points made in those 2 posts. This is what this board should be about. It's gone awry the past few months with outrageous predictions for or against.

I agree with both assessments and that TLW has a much firmer footing currently. Plus a new CEO with operarional experience in the areas TLW operate as well as significant financial experience.

nhawan, I never predicted 50p by next week. End of the year I said (again). I'm not naive enough to think this will double in a week.

50p is a realistic end of year target. We're undervalued at these levels and should be 30p as it is. The company is in a much better debt position than the period you refer to.

Lastly, it's my opinion and prediction. Only Nostradamus coukd call the next 6 months on the stock market.

Did you read my post? I said 50p by the end of the year. That's up 100% from here. I gave my reasons.

As for £1 in 24 months I feel that there is a strong chance. Again, my reasons given today and yesterday.

Yes I do believe it. As I have said previously Tullow is in good shape for the medium term and more positive company news is due.

You need to go back and read the recent RNSs and see the steps the company is taking. All positive.

If you can't commit to the share then stop with the constant negativity on weak or little knowledge. If you want to play the swings then good luck.

Completely disagree. 50p will here by the end of the year if oil price continues in this fashion and economies continue to open up.

Cuts will start having a real impact shortly and supply will begin outstripping demand. You forget that many humans are fickle...as soon as there is an effective vaccine people will go back as near as damn it to their old way of life. Holidays, etc.

Depends on what your goal is.

Look back over the last few months and it's had mighty swings both downwards and upwards. If you want to make a swing trading play then you could do well. This will go back up from here, no question. Depends what you want to get out of it? A few percent of profit and out, or long term multi bag.

I do believe 6 months from now we will be considerably higher than we are now, and in 18-24 months a £1+. That's my view anyway.

Dave, even if there is a takeover bid (unlikely in my view within the next couple of years), but if an offer is made and accepted.....it would be at the very least, double the value from here imo.

Even with Uganda and Kenya sold, Tullow still have great assets.
