Worth reading the rather negative article in today's Sunday Times, talking about the dividend being rather high if they wish to cut debt.

Quite correct, it is strange that there was no reason given for a generous divi & no noticeable XD price fall, there seems to be persistent buying though.
Perhaps when we were discussing, earlier this month, if this share had been left behind it genuinely had been ?
I think it is a very interesting company with a band of customers who seem well pleased with the service they offer (limited), the prices charged (low), & with knowledgeable people swiftly available when you phone them up.

It keeps meeting resistance at 130p, tonights close will be interesting, but the buyers do seem to have the upper hand at present (thinks me as a stale bull & happy to watch it progress).

I noticed the volumes as well, if there is a buyer or buyers as hoped we should know when someone reaches 3%.
Alternatively it could be short covering, Ennismore were apparently short of 2.79% on August 1 ?

Quite correct, imo. Remember those punters on here looking for close to £30 as the exit price, where have they gone now?
My suspicion is that if there were to be a bid it will be at a firesale price, as we are now seeing.
Those results earlier this week really said it all.
To try and make them look pretty is like putting lipstick on a pig.
I still feel suspicious that this bod know something, hence their dash for the door.

At least you did a lot better than Amati vct/global investors who spent over £2.5mill buying them at 260p for these 2 years ago & are still carrying them at 64p today !

Not sure how you can say the numbers were poor, as expected, if they were expected to be like this why are the shares now down 105p/11.54% today ?

Does anyone honestly understand what this company does ?
When I saw a presentation on them I honestly believe no one understood their business other than it is based on a Japanese system known as "Hoshin"

Fair comment, but if they are showing as much enthusiasm with the sale process as they are with todays RNS announcement it's hardly surprising the "buyers" have still to show their hand....
Holders may have a long wait I fear.

And the share price is up 20p from when the 15p special divi was announced, so it appears, at present at least, to be win win !

Results are not exactly a barrel of laughs, a loss on EPS before adjustments, a lot of waffle about future prospects, waffle because statement then says that "formal sale process is ongoing, management presentations held with a number of interested parties with feedback expected by end September", so not exactly a battle royale for them by the sounds of this. Clearly though the future prospects are unlikely to materialise for this set of shareholders, the board appear to have given up. What do they know that they are not revealing to shareholders ?
A fat lot of chance that a bid will go through at anything like the £30 a share being touted earlier on this site, once a tub of lard, always a tub of lard.

A very interesting post, one thing is that over the 2 comparable periods the market has in general moved up a bit as well, but good to see the comparables laid out like this. If we have no real guidance on the sale interest at the interims I guess we see a move lower ?
What confuses me in all this is that if the board knew, as they must have done, that revenue was going to be disappointng when announced, that they did not line up an agreed bid then, if they really do have interested parties sniffing around ?
