Frankly with the pitiful size that MINI is, a return of assets to shareholders would probably save PMI money.

A trust of that size is uneconomic for both shareholders & management.

Plenty of cheap ones available today, sub 62p anyone ??

Well this IHT cloud overhanging doesn't help, but I suspect just the imminent fear of this might have encouraged sellers already so how far down would AIM shares drop, possibly very little.

As they say it is better to travel than to arrive...

I agree with you but sadly I am already in (albeit at a low level) but at this price I just had to add a few more, the cash runway is a dream to many AIM biomedic stocks, something to tuck away in the back of the portfolio and hope it becomes a pleasant surprise...

Well my enthusiasm of 2 days ago was clearly badly misplaced, fwiw I bought some more today thinking how cheap they looked, only to see them drop like a falling knife shortly after my purchase.

I guess most holders of HRB are not keen followers of Investment Trusts but one of the highest regarded high yield trusts is Merchants and today, in their update for August, revealed that they had bought HRB and the reasons (which we all know) as to why they did.

Not a huge holding in the great scheme of things but, imho encouraging that a fund like this has joined us alll as holders.

I suspect you are onto something here, if these hybrids are expected to eventually become equities then any holders are quite likely to hedge them or dispose of them, and this sort of instrument is traditionally offloaded to a fund which specialises in convertible arbitrage.

That would certainly explain the rather unexpected stock price movement.

I did add some yesterday but still trying to figure out why it is so weak, got in just under 260 after all expenses.

I guess I'll add again if they drop below 250...

I see we have lost our CEO today, not terribly encouraging imho ?
