..... not for us though .... the only thing that's gonna help us is some properly good news, not about how we're selling assets because our SP is too poor to raise against or that we might be mining in years to come .... some really good news relevant now ..... before we slip into the 5''s to sell ....oops!! but then it's been on the cards eh!!

...exactly & what I was alluding to earlier, with the increased footprint of their MX facility it wouldn't surprise me at all that Elon hasn't agreed to process Lithium from the Sonora deposits on the understanding that the MX Govt shift & clear everyone else out of the way .... can't help feeling hed enjoy that seeing as his deal with BCN/KDNC fell apart after Secker arrived at BCN.

Pure conjecture of course but it'll be interesting to see how it all pans out in due course......

@MB for chronological accuracy you should note the statement by AMLO was made in Jan of this year whereas the formal cancellation notice was issued in August of this year some 6+ months later so I guess the desire to avoid legal actions was only there until they fixed the judiciary more in their favour .... JMO of course 😊

Cancelled as in Cancelled by the MX mining authority but apparently with a small chance that it could be reversible .... Ganfeng are obviously challenging it but the way they're setting up the judiciary I'm not sure how successful that might be & I personally expect a long protracted drawn out process that might at some future date years away result in some derisory compensation .... of course I might be wrong & it could all be solved amicably if Ganfeng agree to supply all the lithium produced to satisfy local Mexican needs at a discounted rate .... of course that might upset their backers and current export commitments but hey ho ...what're you gonna do...

Just my thoughts though - but what a potentially ignominious end to the Sonora journey .... but then we were 7/8 years from what was our JV area being exploited anyways (according to existing time-frames) so we can just wait & see 🙈

....makes me wonder if they haven't tabled a potential agreement to deliver truck loads of raw material directly to the plant & process it themselves Elon did say they'd consider getting into mining & he knows a fair bit about the lithium in our cancelled licence areas 🤔.....

@MB .... have you been hiding in your nuclear fallout shelter didn't you hear we currently have NO lithium interests in Sonora or Mexico at all as they're currently cancelled.

...on that I agree ..... we were overvalued 12 years ago and by the by I wasn't buying at the highs in any event however that in my opinion still doesn't offset entirely the drop in SP, the poor decisions, misleading & inappropriate comments that have been made during that time ... possibly the last chance saloon with Amapa ..time will tell.

.,you keep thinking that & we'll just ignore that much of it was just poor choices of partners, loans and investments... you can't go on blaming 'external' factors for 12+ years of declining SP and increasing SCAP .... I daren't calculate how much we've raised, borrowed and lost in the last 13 years compared to our current MCAP ....still at least I can think of 4 people who've profited handsomely from us all....

Sonora is 'currently cancelled' for us and Amapa (whilst other possibilities exist) doesn't look like producing anything new until 2028 earliest ...no wonder we're the sum of our direct holdings ... which haven't exactly performed well either have they .... sooooo much potential so little reward tsk tsk 🤨
