I seem to recall indications from the government stating that existing exploration/mining licenses issued & being actively progressed wouldn't be affected regardless & it would be existing/new applications & licences with no activity that would be affected .... but that might require clarification I didn't dream it LoL.

...don't think it's anything to be concerned about it's only a vote on whether he sees out his elected term (bit of circus in my opinion) it shouldn't have any bearing on which way the energy bill vote goes next week.

what'd be more interesting to find out is whether this is a bolt out of the blue & negotiations with 3rd parties haven't started or been identified yet (i.e. a long way off any commencement/conclusions/agreements) or whether there's already been any degree of feelers or tentative if you/we did this/that conversations or approaches of what if's, how much's, how many, how long with anyone(s) & if so whether something more concrete might come out a little sooner..... like this year possibly .... that'd be nice....
