Ø Evergreen Lithium has filed a listing and offering prospectus with the ASX; the anticipated admission date is 10 March 2023.

Ø On admission, Cadence will own approximately 8.7% of Evergreen, which at the offer price values Cadence's equity stake at AS$ 3.96 million.

OK ... If we're going to try & have a sensible conversation ..... the colour a 'trade' is reported on here does not always reflect whether it was a buy or sell but always reflects which side of the SP mid point it was completed at .... Mer yesterday stated that he bought at 13p ... the SP mid point at the time was 13.5p hence it was printed in red, nothing to do with someone misreporting it and everything to do with the trade price in relation to the mid point.... the fact that Mer bought at 13p meant that shares were available at that time to service it ... I can't see it making much if a difference either way if it had been printed in blue when the bid/ask was at 13/14p in any event, other than indicating (as it did anyway) that the bid/ask was too high & was likely to move down, if anything printing buys in red is more likely to support the ASK than damage it IMO .... unless of course it's broadcast that trades indicated in red are buys which makes it obvious to all who read it that the ASK isn't necessarily supported by trading activity.

It is also a fact, as Mer points out that current trading whether buying or selling is relatively low by volume to SCAP which to me infers most are just sitting on their hands and waiting for news that will indicate what to do with their holding going forward.

We need news & most are waiting for it.

It's just where some are prepared to sell/trade currently for whatever reason ...
boredom/necessity or even realising profit & will do so until 'good' news pushes it the other way .... as Mer has repeatedly said it's not like it's a mass sell off as the volumes are relatively small..... I suspect most here are holding or (as in Mers (& others!) case) topping up as we drift until news dictates we should do otherwise.

Not quite @Degsie our HAS shares are worth ~ £3.8M currently not sure how you've got to £11M as it was only worth just over £5M at the outset ... seems to be improving slowly from where it was for the moment at least .... Evergreen will be clearer once they're fully trading.

.... hmmm fishing ... Let's say it was somewhat less productive than investing in an AIM co if that's possible & had a fish & chip tea (sans fish) for tea!

Thoroughly enjoyable though watching my fishing compadre....

2) getting caught calf deep by the waves & scrambling like a scolded cat up the rocks whilst trying to retrieve his tackle from the weeds.
3) trying I assume to catch a land crab by casting directly onto the rocks opposite .... & to cap it all
4) casting the top half of his 12' rod into the Sound of Mull .... at which point I thought it safer if I took him home for both of us as I wasn't wearing my pants with the reinforced gusset. :-))

Yes I read yesterday's RNS and thought the same, it didn't say anything we didn't already know IMO and looked pretty much like a here's what we all know so far pretty much, apart that is from what I saw as a 6 month stall on shipping Amapa stockpiles .... but funny old AIM & we went blue .... might explain why we also go red when I expect the opposite LoL.

Indeed .... If there wasn't a large amount of discovered, known and ready to mine lithium down the road in Mexico I'm not sure Tesla would've decided to build an assembly plant just down the road, Elon saying there's enough Li in the U.S. alone was just indicating how abundant it is globally, whether it is accessible, convertible, available in sufficient economical quantities is entirely different .... and ... it has to be found first.

He mentioned economic (financial & environmental) methods that Tesla has of extracting Lithium from clays & that they would share it ..... and I suspect they already have.

Another reason to believe the Lithium for batteries, which needs a refiner in between the mine and battery manufacturer plant(s) will come from Sonora

Also we need to await & see who/what replaces Ganfeng as a PSC over Bacanora as I assume the removal of them as a PSC means they no longer entirely control Bacanora .... whether it will become a joint control with their involvement or they've exited entirely (& how), replaced by remains to be seen, I suspect it may be the former. How that might effect/impact little ol' us remains to be seen.

I also suspect Tesla will be 'breaking ground' on the car assembly plant approximately 9 months (from their prior plant build parameters in the presentation) before the batteries will be available to install in the 'next gen' cars that will be built there .... So another trigger point to look out for if we don't find out sooner. ... over the next couple of weeks :-)

.. actually scratch the Giga factory comments/thoughts as it's an assembly plant for their 'next gen' cars they're building in Monterey not a Giga ...... after 4+ hours my mind went to mush on that bit LoL

Mer.... firstly hope they work out & fix the cause of your oxygen deficiency...

As to the Tesla Livestream event, other than it being 4+ hours of my life I won't get back & assessing that Elon's a poor public speaker there was nothing that would impact us directly or indirectly throughout the entire event .... it wasn't until the Q&A he even mentioned they were building a Giga in Monterey .... fortunately though somebody asked a question about mining & reminded him he'd said Tesla might get into it that he stated quite clearly, words to the effect that, Tesla does not want to get (and essentially has no intention of getting) into mining ....... unless they absolutely had to...... he considers the pinch point for lithium batteries to be in the refining into battery grade not the supply of ore, ..... He also said that Tesla are prepared and willing to share all & any lithium refining technologies they have (& did mention Clays) to suppliers to improve their suppliers ability to supply.

So I think we can stop waiting on & thinking that Tesla are directly entering the mining business.

Whether it's still possible they might buy our Sonora JV assets to secure supply and contract someone else to dig it out and deliver it to the Monterey Giga is I think is anyone's guess but perhaps also is a bit of straw clutching.
