.... unlikely though in my opinion, the numbers don't work well for me for us to settle the entire bank debt ...... IF ...... we do sell Sonora & ...... IF ..... it's with sufficient funds to pay off the banks entirely it's a lot more than would be required to go to our max permitted percentage (49.9%) so what would we get for the rest or how would it be accommodated easily..... alternatively IF any sale of Sonora isn't sufficient to take us to 49,9% Amapa holding it won't be sufficient to pay the banks off entirely then either IMO.

Makes sense for me to stick with stockpiles paying off the banks as per the mutually agreed plan and focus any available 'new' funds on the rehabilitation requirements in line with our % of ownership at the time alongside our other JV partner(s) who would finance paying for their own %'s accordingly as well .... just means we'd require potentially less debt ...... that's on the VERY BIG IF we've sold our Sonora JV rather than the exploitation simply being firmed up &/OR something else again ..... Sonora is still the BIG unanswered question even though hopefully not for much longer & hopefully positively for us but right now there's only assumption & deduction with no certainty or guarantees .....yet.

....one reason might be that they're not allowed ...although another might be they see better opportunities elsewhere or they're waiting for your next horsey tip 😉 😂

You stated that he hadn't been a factor here for 7&1/2 years which is incorrect as our BoD followed him around in later ventures & he continued to turn up to AGM's skulking in the background with Kiran referring to him as a company friend ...... so we're not talking about investments made during his tenure here ...we're talking about companies our current BoD invested in that he'd joined (& subsequently failed & left) after he left REM (as it was) .... such as costly associations with Auroch & Clancy etc ....subsequent to his departure we stuffed BCN, we've sold down EMH, sold out of Macarthur etc etc

...again not entirely correct Jimb ... how many of DL's companies did KDNC invest in with extremely poor results following DL's departure & do you not recall that DL continued to appear at AGM's for some time and was referred to as 'A friend of the company' by KM .... Or is your recall just selective....
