I think trying to articulate value is difficult, but what you are discribing is a bubble, i.e. something valued by what people will pay for it alone.
Admittidly it maybe my fault in the way I articulate the question, however I feel more relexed about my holding and think I won't top up at this time and will just sit back and see what happens.

Thanks Baxsterssoup. That still largely reads like the SP is what shareholders are willing to pay for it though. The one thing that caught my eye though was valuation of the IP.
This was my main line of thinking, as good news on 201 would affect how that piece of IP is valued. The question is who values that IP, how long does it take to revalue IP and how does that translate into the value of the SP?

I can understand that when the 201 results are released we are expecting a nice jump in AP, but who determines the new value?
Over the last few weeks it's been shareholder sentiment that's been pushing this higher, but now with results so close I've suddleny started to wonder where else value comes from?
Yesterday saw an increase in volume and twice as many buys as sells. Got to admit I am super tempted to add more now incase its the last chance to do so, but FOMO buying is one of the big mistakes, hate this to become a momentum trap.
Anyone else got a perspective on how SP is determined?

I am saying 65% it will be 26p close on Monday. (based on recent movements and nothing happening on Monday)
Of course if news lands tomorrow at 7am then that will be straight out the window lol.

Hi Grace, I saw a post by bluestockone's that included a link to a face book account. The whole thing looked a little iffy. I then saw they had only had 2 posts on the VAL bb so I looked at all thier posts and I saw that this was someone to be warey of. I didn't report the post myself, didn't think much would happen on a weekend, but obviously someone did and the post feel short of the stardards set by lse.

Compared to the dip and recovery last week this is nothing.
This is just a bit of drift as the momentum has been tailing off.
Nothing has changed. Just be careful not to make a panic decision.

My main reason is that if 1 code means an RNS is due it means insider dealing
My other main reason is that I don't think codes like that are a sensible way to communicate.

On a more unpleasant note I find that fawning on Tr1 shareholders pathetic. Long threads on the identity of Bown, the intentions of Slater and the expertise of Hargreaves have just been excessive.
Yes it is good news that VAL can now attract the attention of serious investors because it was simply not possible under the old regime, but if your trading choices are dictated by trying to divine the intentions of the bigger players then you are a sheep and you shouldn't be invested in AIM shares where things move too fast to work out what the big boys are doing.
Also if I were a TR1 shareholder and subject to the level of attention and gossip the TR1 shareholders on here are I would probably dump my holding the moment I had made a nice profit just to spite the sheep.
There is no reason not to do your own homework and take responsibility for your own choices.

Hi Grace, I don't think it unreasonable to for another's perspective, but I don't like it when it looks like someone is being asked to do homework for someone else. I can understand fact checking, checking own understanding etc but if the companies activities are so completely beyond your understanding that you need someone else to tell you if it's time to buy, hold or sell then perhaps this is not a company to invest in.

I have watched SAR for years. Been glad I don't own any because it peaks and falls like many a biotech. That said this year has been hot for biotech!
Can't offer any opinion on if SAR will pop again soon. I own VAL and SCLP. I might miss out but I don't want further exposure in biotech or AIM at the moment.
