If you were the directors and the shares had slumped to less than £1 - what is the quickest way to get interest in the shares and raise the SP - spread a rumour regarding 'shoring up our defences' against a real or imaginary bid .... Watch the SP on Monday ... Or the Pump and dump brigade are at it as well - dial a rumour ....

Cannot get access to sell on HL - annoying when there is a good profit to be had but cannot sell
As published on SKY
Asked for an update on plans to recruit thousands of contact tracers, Northern Ireland Secretary Brandon Lewis told Sky News this morning: "I don't think we've got to 18,000 just yet, I think there's about 15,000 applications, we're looking to as you say get up to 18,000."
Pressed for an exact number of contact tracers recruited, he responded: "As of this morning I'm not sure of exactly how many of the 15,000 have been hired, earlier in the week it was about 1,500, it would have gone up since then."
Addressing a regular Westminster briefing for journalists, the prime minister's spokesman said the 1,500 figure was out of date and "significantly more" have since been recruited.
Just wondering , just how many 'punters' out there in 'gamble land' have done the whole hog and invested across the board on all of the Pharma companies - looking at my present holding I see I am into 4 companies (thankfully all in blue) - but jumping out/in is the name of the game ...

After getting my fingers 'burnt' a few times can I offer a few words to those jumping in here
1 - Do NOT fall n love with your investment - you invested to make money decide what is a good profit and take it.
2 - GREED is the ENEMY of profit - people stay in too long and what goes up - will come down (at some time) - so take your stake back - plus a bit of 'extra' and then watch the rest of the 'punt' if you still like it.
3 - Lots of people with lots of different agendas on thes BB's - don't use the comments as a reason to trade - the rampers and derampers have no technical inside knowledge - wishing a share to move in a certain direction does not make it happen.
DYOR and do not spend your pension ......
GLA - Bandanaman
With HL they are sending out info next week on how to vote OR you can send them a message / email with your decision

Jacob Young the new Con for Redcar etc should also be targetted. Boris has announced £100 billion for Northern Powerhouse - now is the time to put pressure on ALL MPs- but surely ALL those in and around the area...
If the figures and data are there, why isn't the sentiment and support
Nixan - words out of my mouth, Flappingchicken's attitude of ""I'm alright "" is what you can find when you ignore what the company is trying to do. It is not just about the SP.
Regenerate an area with limited jobs so that people are on Min wage in dead end tourist or fast food jobs.
Regenerate a Port and the supporting infrastructure (bought too early and now costing us ...) It is in an area of outstanding beauty - but that doesn't put food on the the table. NYNP is full of people who have independent wealth and do not have to work for a living - the rest of the area does - if there are any jobs that is...
As I am corrected by Littlened - All I wanted was to Govt to back the 500M bond - and then we had access to 2.5 B of revolving credit - enough to finish the mine.
But after all the MP's have had their mugshot and press cutting service slows down - we have nothing.
I hope against hope that some white knight will ride by and say - 'Yup, I'll have some of that' and the mine gets finished and the PI's who have been in from the start can have something to show for their support and the Govt can use the income generated in tax (and more income and corporation tax from more workers and companies in the regenerated area) to help Flappingchichen decide what to put his money ..........
ATB to the LTH
SpruceGoose2 - What really galls me is that after 'doing the rounds' and raising the capital require in 'Round 1' SXX should NOT have blown all of its money until Round 2 was fully and irrevocably secured.
If sinking the shaft was the main problem then it should have been ring fenced and just that secion been offered large returns to sink the hafts, whilst SXX built the tunnels.
Our forefathers have sunk many shafts and the technology has improved dramatically since then ...
The Govt. and various ministers have all visited and the dropping of the baton was the main cause of the failure and a better and complete argument given to the Govt. - possibly even including a % ownership - I would have settled for 90% of the finished cake instead of 100% of no cake.
Some would argue that it is the NYNP that have lobbied the Govt , since they lost out on the planning appeal.
Tex, I understand that , but my holding has just about zero value, (apart from the lesson about the stock market trolls etc.)
Luckily it was a 'side investment' (not pension or whatever and I am already retired) - This country has no stomach for large investment projects (just look at the fracas of the Nuclear Power Industries and the like) - it sends a strong message that the once Manufacturing Base of the UK is dead and buried and that UK is only good for fast food outlets (don't tell Jamie Oliver though) and financial impropriety services.
I agree with the comment - 'someone' will pick up the entire company for nothing - just to complete the mine and create the jobs, so needed in the area.
All LTH and PI's will be wiped out - it will be a 'packaged deal' buy from the administrator and if CF stays in the role it will be a tragedy twofold.
He might have lost hios 2% interest in SXX (but no doubt will be given a stake in any new 'Phoenix company', which will slowly added to over the next 4 years as the mine gets completed.
So once again the 'mugs' of PI's that 'created' this company and backed it so that it could start the mine have been outdone by the impotent FCA and shorting Hedge funds (who couldn't give a toss whether the mine was built or not - as long as they got a bung from the betting...)
All of the LTH have been put over a barrel and made to take it without a whimper, I have had enough of the 'financial institutions' and the MP's and governing bodies that are happy to throw money away left right and centre on wasted ID cards / IT systems for NHS / HS2 and others...
This is slow death by a thousand cuts .... agonising and painful - I just want it over with

IMHO I think that CF pulled it as he expects rates to drop to a much reduced level and hence any funding is at a much lower cost.
I am probably wrong - but that is my rose tinted view of the situation - that and looking like a rabbit caught in the headlights ....
Sheps - succinct, as always ......
'Each to their own' as my mother would say, traders do have a place in business, as they are a general expression of the sentiment on the future position of the company.
Shorters however are the scum of the earth and it should be banned,
The Hedge funds that do this, generally do it with inside knowledge, work to the extent of the law (and outside it as they are rarely challenged and caught) and basically try and destroy a company for profit.
Seen and been on the end result of some of these - Tiger Fund / Quindell ....
ATB to all PI's - bandanaman
GK, your views are OK as a 'Trader' - someone with the time and knowledge to be able to sit back and watch the flickering of the screen and pounce when a profit is there.
Many on these boards do and investment in the long term view, they do not have the luxury of being able to trade constantly.
Trading is no bad thing, cashing in on the movements, but I feel there are more LTH than 'traders' using these BB's ....
IMHO

DGR - but at least you have made the 1st target....
Now you can sit back and ignore bulletin boards for 3 years and then have a 'peep' and see if you were a) - right, b) - clever, or c) - skint .....
GLA - hope the DIVIS come (for my kids / grandkids sake...)
As I constantly remind PI's on this board, especially when the SP moves 'dramatically'.
Greed is the enemy of Profit, when you enter into a share then you should set yourself 2 x targets (fair and achievable).
These should be - a) - At what price should I sell and realise my profit.
Also not forgetting - b) - At what price do I sell and accept the loss incurred.
Greed will ruin the 1st setting, whilst 'frozen in the headlights' will ruin the 2nd setting (and you).
If 25% profit or loss is the target then that is many times what you would get / lose in the bank.
Selling a % and getting a free ride is a good way / staking all or nothing hoping for a continuous ride is a sure way to lose in the long run.
By the way - I never follow my own advice and have been in this share since the 8p days and even though I sold out at 45p - I then bought back in at 35p ......
GLA to all - (except shorters - may they burn is the cesspits of hell, along with the useless FCA and other allegedly controlling authorities. Give me the SEC anytime!!)

If you use HL then there is a Max charge of £45 / years for an ISA - charged monthly - you can 'bed and ISA' your shares into the ISA from your Fund account - If NOT with HL at moment then you can either sell and use the cash to open an ISA (£20k / year) or transfer the shares across - but that takes time ...
Yorkie,
As an 'expat Tyke' myself, I am worried about your post .....
After much pulling and thrusting my wife did manage to get the stalk out of her 'Cupid's Garden' (as she tenderly like to call her veg patch). however my wife also found it too large to handle.
A two handed grip did work - but she did wear a hole in one of the gloves.
More after, once she got it out and gave it back to me, did not know what to do with it, seeing as all it 'fruits of the earth' had gone and were consumed.
I did mange to break in half by snapping it across my knee, but that only made things worse... (I now have to book an appointment to see the doctor - due to a damaged knee..)
Be careful what you wish for ..as Geoff Boycott once said .. 'cud b'trouble int pillowroom here..?'

PAA et al,
PM me and I will give you the email address of the person to contact - alternatively contact the press office and request some 'sample bottles' as an 'interested investor' and 'gardening enthusiast' - they should sort that out.
100gms / m2 is the prefered dosage rate as I recall - but if you spread at the roots of a growing plant then you do not need the 'scatter gun' option - and you can apply to more plants.
May your chillies grow large and give you much sustenance - something akin to SXX ....
