NG would say that. I think the problem will lie with the DNO. I have read several reports this week which suggests certain areas of the UK are at capacity especially in remote areas.
Yes, it is flawed logic. There is also a case for restricting charging to certain times. Imagine everyone coming home from work, tuning the TB and oven on, kettle on and then plugging in the 7kw charger. If people are restricted to charging times it tells you that the DNO would have to spend significant capital to upgrade ageing networks in some areas.
