January 2010 for me. 11.4p first purchase price. Back in the days of Dr Gene Lewis and the Alpha system. Picked up on AFC from a December 2009 shares magazine article. Bought all the way up to 50p and loaded up at 4p last year. Its been a long and frustrating wait but never lost sight of the potential.

Exactly BB2. The fuelcell in essence is just chemistry. The original fuelcells were conceptual, whilst what we have now is an advanced system which can be scaled up to produce signicant power. We have some very clever people that have taken the concept to full-scale operational systems that will clean up our energy.

Its the sort of technology aliens use on their spaceships.

We should be expecting the delivery/deployment of the fuelcell to extreme E sometime soon. They should RNS that as its an excellent milestone to announce to the market. More than just a fuelcell. Complete offgrid hydrogen production as well.

Dr.A. Thank you for your post. Yes, I sold down a few PHE shares yesterday and added to EQT. I have held AFC for 11 years and had hoped back in 2010 that the green sector would be prominent but it was a little too early. However, I have a keen interest in all the tech and agree with you re-sentiment driving AIM. AFC have suffered for many years with bad sentiment. That is now changing more positively and driving the value up and hopefully closing the disparity gap for AFC.

I hope we all do well from the sector. I believe it will help create jobs and drive the economy to recovery over the next decade leaving a good legacy for my kids and a cleaner world to live in.

Bang on £200m MCap at this price. Will be a little psychological resistance but looking like the rerate is underway.

ITM have hit £2bn MCap which although I don't believe the disparity should be so great between AFC and ITM is still very good for AFC as it sets a strong target. I would be personally very happy if AFC achieved even £1bn MCap in the next 12 months but £2bn would be absolutely life changing. Not a holder of ITM but would really like to see them continue towards 3 and 4bn MCaps over the next year or so. Great for the sector.

Yachtmaster, it was a good few years ago. Before AFC changed their approach to news releases and perhaps a slight naive AB not realising that Dr Gene Lewis was some way from where De Nora have assisted in getting us to today.

What is boioiught?

If you want to estimate the future SP you need to consider revenue and market peer value. For PHE to hit £1 they would have to have significant revenue and be very profitable. With somewhere near 4bn shares in issue, £1 per share would give PHE a £4bn MCap. What net profit per annum would PHE have to achieve or even likely to achieve to hit that value? Even using a PE of 20, PHE would have to clear £200m per year. At 20% Margin means revenues of £1bn per annum. Is that not a lot of licenced sites ?

Flow77. Your 10p CWR shares, were they subject to a 10 for 1 consolidation ? I can remember in 2010 when investing in AFC that CWR had a similar share price but quite a few shares in issue. Years later they consolidated. Would that not make your 10p share actually a 100p. Not taking anything away from that rise as 100p to 900p is still massive rise.

But how many barrels of oil per day can they produce from the well ? What are NTOG expecting? Whatever the bopd is, are NTOG only attributed 25% ?

I will add that 200Mw is significant capacity. ITM have a facility that can manufacture 1Gw (doesn't mean they can reach capacity anytime soon) and CWR just 10Mw after expansion. This has come at significant cost to both whilst AFC have flexibility in the supply chain and can introduce further partnerships in strategic locations keeping transport cost to a minimum.

In my opinion AFC have got this absolutely right and I think the market is now looking at AFC very differently to 12 months ago when they had a commercial product but no real way to produce it in volumes.

Sprog, I think 100 systems per annum is a starting point. Its difficult to tell what the initial order quantity would look like but I guess AFC are aware of the pipeline. This is a transitional period for hydrogen technology and to think AFC have 200Mw per annum in their sights by the end of 2022 is fantastic and potentially worth many £100s of millions in revenue per annum. As demand increases with acceptance and understanding of the transition AFC are likely to look at more strategic partnerships and locations. There is no point at the moment rattling around in a larger facility when the initial hub is just right and also local to HQ. Growth will come and hopefully the low cost strategy will remain in place.

Excellent developments for AFC. It really is all coming together.

Well one broker has 17m plus shares to get rid of at a price higher than 26.6p.

Its just too much of a coincidence to not be RA leaving. It was off-book so negotiated with a broker who was clearly happy to pay over 26.5p for a large lump of AFC shares. Who wouldn't in the current market ? Let's see how this plays out tomorrow.

Haggis. AFC state this today regarding electrodes.

'Containerised balance of plant from BK Gulf and electrodes from De Nora will be received at the site for complete assembly and on-site system commissioning before providing a logistics hub for customer dispatch.'

Although not specifically mentioning mass manufacturing it does reference electrodes in the same way as mass manufacturing BoP and assembly and commissioning I.e in a mass manufacturing way !
