There is a significant difference between the the two and its not a choice between two companies in competition that have the same product, strategy and business model ??

TysonFury. I don't think finance or finances is an issue for EQT. As you will know, they raised £10m to allow them early access to projects during the development stage. Investment made at that level on financial close will be returned plus 100% of initial investment.

When it comes to project finance this is not so much a direct concern of EQT as the finance will be for the SPV meaning specific to the project. This will be based upon EQT during the design and planning stage to demonstrate to the financier that the project will be commercially viable. Recently SAE have received backing for over 100% of project funding on the proviso that certain conditions are met at point of financial close.

With finance in place and a good EPC I think EQT are lining themselves up well to deliver on their pipeline and starting generating design and planning, construction, ops and maintenance and sales of energy revenues (paid to EQT from SPV profit via dividend from relevant SPV)

Its a very attractive set up and EQT are no longer just a proprietary equipment manufacturer but a total system provider. Cradle to grave as well as ownership.

Not sure what you mean by 'compete in this environment' and needing more cash? If you mean compete on MCap then what has more cash got to do with it? AFC have cash and strategic partnerships. The same applies for competing in this environment. AFC have cash, they have strategic partnerships and they have manufacturing capacity to deliver beyond what Bosch are capable of in 2022 (AFC 200Mw whilst Bosch will be 2024 for the same) so why would they need more cash when manufacturing partnerships and assembly/commissioning facility has already seen investment from the £31.6m ?

It looks set up very well to 'compete' in this environment be it on a technology level, sales and manufacturing capacity or even Market Capitalisation. AFC have been very careful to manage costs and minimise expenditure hence the strategic partnerships they have developed with De Nora and ABB amongst others. Both as equally world class as Linde, Bosch and specialists in their fields of electrode development and EV charge systems. What a great job AB and the team have done under NDAs

Can always ask DP to do a 10-1 consolidation. Personally I think it matters not. Maybe as the MCap reaches the Unicorn status so EQT are trading with a respectable SP and not 14.5p for £1bn MCap

Bombay. EQT don't produce hydrogen they produce Syngas which is hydrogen rich methane. This can be either used to generate energy, heat or is sold to customers in the distribution grid.

The benefit is that EQT reduce waste to landfill and produce energy from a clean gas process. Much cleaner than incineration as it is without NOx and SOx. It is also more efficient than incineration.

Does that rely matter. I used to get worried about shares in issue. I'm interested in percentage gain. I'm happy at £300m with 7bn shares in issue. Thats 4.2p in todays money. I honestly think we will see higher than that in 12 months time.

Oh yes. I agree. That is the transitional period EQT are in. With free cash flows and strong revenue £350m will be achieved easily which would mean that waiting until then before investing may see an investor miss out on a 250% rise in SP. So for now its about the sector, the IP and the potential.

AnneOwl. What is your ethical resistance to PHE ?

Is not always just income/revenue/free cash flow that dictates MCap. We should also consider the sector and the IP of the business plus the willingness of investors to buy shares at a certain price. EQT is a strong ESG investment which is the kind of thing that institutions are looking for.

Tradegates a funny one but does go to show that the market is demanding AFC shares and they are prepared to pay for them. Something keeps the SP from flying here but we should just chill and let this re-rate unfold.

The ABB partnership is the first that Adam Bond is announcing. There is more to come yet. Best we leave something in the tank for the next rise.
