But yes, I would suggest comparison to CWR as they are licencing their technology whilst ITM are producing hydrogen. Both are circa £2bn but I can bet that using DMG is far more cost effective at producing hydrogen than electrolysis.

I think the potential of AFC is huge with the new strategic partnership with ABB and I think the market is starting to wake up to the potential that AFC has after spending 13 years developing a low cost solution and not something that just works at any cost. Revenue potential is huge with AFC and the strategic partnership with ABB represents just the EV charge market whilst AFC have several other avenues for fuelcell deployment.

Sorry to go on about them but I am now also equally excited about PHE and can start to see how they could very quickly be a valuable commodity in hydrogen production. A sector which is becoming very prominent and a global focus !

Telephoneman. I wouldn't look at AFC as a comparison. They have a very different model and don't have a couple of projects which they wishbto convert to sales. They have strategic partnerships which could lead to significant sales volumes and hope to sell multiple units in 2021 to those customers. That strategy is working for them over the licencing strategy that PHE follow.

The AFC current MCap should be compared to CWR who do follow a licencing strategy but the revenues that AFC could achieve through strategic partnerships is far greater particularly as they are partnered with a global player in the EV field in ABB.

Now, PHE could move very quickly to a £370m MCap and be cash flow positive off the back of two or three projects. The fact that there is 100 potential UK locations and certainly 11 for PHE is fantastic. I feel certain that there will be further deals in other countries outside of the UK and Poland and in a few years PHE will be generating significant and easy reoccurring revenues. Solving a major problem with nonrecyclable plastic waste and producing valuable hydrogen gas for the use in larger transportation vehicles.

Not really. SP could easily reach 10p by end of Q1 2021. That would represent a £370m MCap for a business with revolutionary IP producing hydrogen from waste plastics at a significant rate. Not forgetting that green is the new gold and investment organisations and big players in the oil and gas sector are looking for ways to green up their credentials. We will see a big move to ESG investing over the coming years showing support for businesses with IP such as this. That will drive the price.

Let PHE have its day in the sun. I am also invested there but EQT has had a good run over the last two weeks. Consolidation and move again is healthy. We're still showing a 6% rise currently, although it seems a little mean considering the news today. Especially when coupled with Deeside. Next week would be good to hear Wood !

Its certainly possible to have one in a local community to provide heat, power and hydrogen for vehicle charging.

ShearClass. I have said previously today that I believe the ABB strategic partnership is a better deal than CWR have with Bosch. Reason being that ABB have a ready made market in 80 countries and AFC fit with the existing set up and allow further extension to existing customers. CWR and Bosch do not appear to have a specific target, although this is not a negative comment my view is that Bosch are not specialists in any particular area for fuelcell deployment.

Also ABB is perhaps a partnership for just 25% of the AFC target market and also the part of the market written off. The upside from here really is phenomenal and really should be compared to the top of the sector. As said £1.50 is £1bn and is a good initial target but with others valued now at £2bn plus there is plenty of room for further upward growth. Its been a long time coming.

£100m is 1.42p approx. Lets see what happens once this is breached. Perhaps still not even near fair value at that but we don't want it jumping to it as this rise is making it difficult for day traders to benefit. Quite often the bid does not cover the offer or vice versa dependent what way your trading on a daily basis. Spikes encourage shorting activity. So this really is controlled and steady.

What are PHE to receive for engineering and maintenance of plant. Is this not additional to licencing fees ? I would expect that revenue received from these activities would balance out the additional cost of staff taken on over recent periods and in the future.

Needs to sink in what this actually means along with Deeside. A sustained rise and no spikes is what I am after.

It may be an EV sleigh charged by an AFC fuel cell using PHE hydrogen. I guess we just can't be sure yet Rooky which way Father Christmas will go but he has to comply. Its reindeer turd that is part of the problem with emissions.

PHE have claimed the licencing from 3 plants will see them break even. Give them a year or two longer and a few more plants and they may have a sum of cash behind them to start rewarding shareholders with dividends. Thats is the beauty of the licencing strategy. It is regular income with low risk.

I would like to see PHE start driving PR now. They need to get out there and promote themselves. It does appear to be more active so hopefully 2021 is going to see a step change and the next leg up.

Revenue is roughly £60/tonne gate fees and 5p kwh energy.

So 200k tonnes is £12m plus £11m for electrical energy and then you have heat which I do not know.

Looks like construction revenue to EQT will be €40m approx as well

But all plant annual revenues will be split as EQzt are co-developer.

They will however receive ops & maintenance revenues perhaps if this is for EQT to provide

I can see the government being very interested in a complete system package such as that which can be offered by ABB and AFC avoiding costly grid upgrades. Easily subsidised from the EV network charging fund. This strategic partnership gives so much weight to AFC and ABB extending both the existing client base and opening up a new client base. I really wouldn't be surprised to see ABB/AFC producing systems for government networks in the UK or any where to be fair.

You know what, this ABB partnership is better than the CWR partnership with Bosch. Reason being is that AFC already have production capacity and ABB already have an extensive market for their EV infrastructure. When I read the CWR rns I see that Bosch have identified a target market but its not been penetrator like ABB have with EV charging.

This is such a good strategic partnership. It just cannot be any better. ABB look like just about the best partner for this in respect of EV charging.

17k charge systems in over 80 countries, and whilst this market has already been sold if demand for power starts outstripping grid supply or over reaching current installations ABB will be selling the AFC system to existing customer as well as designing new systems for new customers.

We have discussed on here before how DPD, Royal mail, UPS , Amazon etc are all switching to EV, well ABB would be a likely candidate to design the EV charging infrastructure.
