Some really nice narrative coming from this deal. As I said before. I think this is better for AFC than Bosch is for CWR. Simply for the reason that ABB are a recognised charge partner and have a network of 17k charge systems. Bosch do not seem to have this ready made market and I imagine the CWR product to be higher cost due to the high temperature and material requirement.

Absolutely loving AFC at the moment. Very exciting company with some real sexy partnerships.

Yes, I have this also. Its a fooking buzz at the moment. Its having spent hours researching companies, the economy, general sentiment towards renewables, wondering why the focus was on COVID when global warming is a bigger and more enduring issue. Its a great feeling having held some of my green portfolio for 11 years through some very dark days but having that feeling at the back of your mind that one day we are going to wake up and realise that green tech and renewables/sustainables in a balanced economy is exactly what we are going to need. Every week at the moment is great to see new people starting to switch on to the transition and get behind it. Not so much about driving the SP up but as much to do with the fact that my spare time research and gut feel has started to pay off after listening to all the doubters. Its going to be bumpy but we are just at the beginning so plenty of time to smooth it out.

Valued at £50bn in the UK alone compared to £140bn for EV charging network. This is potentially the reason why ABB have partnered with AFC as it allows continuity of the ABB system and greater offering rather than costly grid upgrades.

So if its £50bn in the UK for which some would say is a mature and advanced network what does that look like on a global scale ?

Its a strategic partnership with both companies contracted to deliver key deliverables without exclusivity. You only have to look at ABB current system deployment and realise that their customer base and future customers may exceed grid capacity and the fit with AFC is perfect.

On the flip side, AFC will have been talking to quite a number of customers which they can now offer a complete solution including fuelcell, batteries, solar plus all the ABB nuts and bolts.

The strategic partnership will design, test and be ready for delivery by H1 2021. During that 6 months I would imagine that both AFC and ABB will have some key customers lined up.

AFC stated in the RNS that the strategic partnership will accelerate scale up so they are expecting to receive many orders next year from this partnership. AB did right not to answer as it would be a pie in the sky figure. We can expect a lot more than a couple of sales to come from this partnership. ABB are the EV charge partner of choice for many across the globe. What better way to extend the EV green credentials than using a green zero emission fuel cell rather than the source of unknown grid power. Customer could still be using the power from a coal fired station or CCGT (admittedly cleaner) but with the AFC solution its 100% clean.

Has to be. AFC is following some randoms. One is just full of rifles. Why would AFC follow them ?

Did we ever find out who may have been the institutional investor to take up the remaining shares. I believe it was determined that an overseas investor does not have to report or disclose the holding to AFC and the market.

No it doesn't. Whislt ground works, civil, utilities and general enabling works are going on at site, off site the plant and equipment can be manufactured. Steel structures are put up in days or just weeks dependent on size and equipment delivered to site and installed within a similar time frame. Site acceptance, commissioning and start up doesnt take that long once everythings sited, bolted down, wired in, checked and tested. Something like Protos could literally be built in 9 - 12 months from this point and with good construction planning

I expect lots of research will be done into the value of AFC over the weekend prior to further new investors buying in.

Plenty of legs left in this shirt term and for anyone thinking long term (12 months plus) the upside is likely to be very good. A news rich period for AFC ahead.

Yes it is. I was not a believer in COVID stocks so never jumped on that bandwagon. Had a very dark period in green stocks and pleased to see the movement I have been anticipating. I think the COVID rainbow chasers maybe looking for a new home for their capital soon. Perhaps the sector may see further PI money coming in the new year.

Absolutely. If the world is serious about generating and transitioning to hydrogen whilst dealing with waste problem (two birds, one stone) then PHE have a fantastic piece of tech which can be scaled up and bridge that gap.

PHE have seen a big rise from below 1p to 4.5p but this is now the beginning of the next chapter. Big years ahead for PHE, AFC and EQT and there is no real competition between them as each is unique in respect of strategy, product and market place.

Mikey279. Exactly that, slow and steady. Before you know it 2p will be upon us. This week we have gone from 1.05p to 1.25p without even noticing. Very hard to trade with such small movements exactly what we want.
