Couldn't agree more. I added at 57p this week. That was before the ExE release. Any further market weakness and I am still a buyer.

Anything is possible. I will be honest and say no. Even if the best news we could possibly hear lands I don't think we will break 3p. That is not negative towards EQT but I think the general market is a drain on sentiment.

What it would do is just build upward pressure so when the market and sector is ready for the upward wave EQT is likely to fair better. I also believe that once 3p is broken it will provide strong support. EQT will neen to close above 3p first. The it will be onwards to 5p. Then 10p. I just think the market is risk off and volumes are down everywhere.

I doubt AFC would be supplying the power this summer but I can't imagine the athletes village to be powered by anymore than temporary power. Assuming it is a temporary village. Temporary power is ideal for AFC and should just be a plug and play scenario. Same as for festivals like Glastonbury.

I agree Simms EQT has the order book and if they deliver will probably be the best performing green sector stock this year.

joojoo. I am disappointed in the AFC drop having held for 11 years but right now they are on a run. First commercial fuelcell commissioned and being delivered next week. The more I read about them the more I like what they are doing and where I think they're heading and thats after 11 years of holding. Between AFC and EQT I am constantly excited. Looking forward to getting things back on track whenever that may be.

Hang in there people. It could still be bumpy but at least EQT has the pipeline and nothing has changed fundamentally.

I don't think AB would have mentioned the Olympics if they had an NDA but I was referring to the scale of the sporting event. This summer is too soon but possibly next year. What big events are next year ?

Winter Olympics are in Beijing in 2022 postponed from 2021. We know the AFC fuel cell can operate at low temperature. Now that would be special.

One of the biggest engine manufacturers for shipping is Man Diesel. Not sure how this compares but looking at the range of power the largest is 1.5mW. I would expect that for large shipping there may be some of these in parallel.

Man Diesel are valued at €6.6bn or £6bn. This could very easily be a target market opportunity for Ricardo and the AFC solid system which would be capable of up to 2mW from a 40ft container. This is no bigger than one of the ships large power sources or engines. Diesel would obviously be replaced with ammonia.

If you chdck the website both rail and shipping is catered for with large diesel powered engines. These are massive sectors to target. As Adam Bond said businesses need to start to look at this now rather than buying diesel engines which will have a design life extending way past 2030

Nah. This is just poor market sentiment all round. Cant take anything away from EQT. They're doing a great job. I've taken and still taking an absolute shafting this week. 10's of percentage points down. Been going on for weeks in all green sector. AFC down from 92p to 60p and they have done nothing but update with very good news. Its fioking painful to watch. But just remember, sentiment towards the sector can change in an instant. The Biden effect has not kicked in yet. If it doesn't and green tech continues to fall then its like saying we have no intention of tackling climate change.

Forget PE ratios etc. Its all blah blah blah. These companies are valued on the environmental, social and governance effects they have on the world. Boom time will come. I don't think it will be long, we just got to stop talking about COVID and start praising the positive attempts to tackle climate change.

The fundamentals of AFC have never been better. Much is dependent on market sentiment. Highly frustrating watching. Don't know what to do other than to switch off and come back another day. It is an emotional drain but patience will hopefully win the day.

Yes, someone did put 2 and 2 together last year after the Extreme E partnership. As if by coincidence ABB have since partnered with AFC for EV charge systems. I bet if AFC sold ABB a charge system for exactly that reason the market still would find an excuse to slip the bid away.

n888, you could possibly be on to something there. Perhaps initially to power equipment and not propel the ship. Ship propulsion would certainly be possible once the solid system is operable. I can see the 2022 deadline for the solid system to be beaten and we may see it a little earlier. Just read the AFC blog from yesterday, they seem to be working hard on accelerating this.

There is clear manipulation in the markets. Orchestrated shorts squeeze, closing of trading apps, only allowing sells and not buys or vice versa. It all goes on. I'm not suggesting that anyone thing is the case here but the publicity alone which AFC have received, the positive comments I have read, the increase in interest which is evident should not lead to a drop in share price. We wanted to hear that the first commercial fuel cell was delivered confirming AFC as a global player in the sector. We received that news yesterday and the price dropped around 10% on opening. Tradegate closes around 12% up yesterday evening yet this morning there is no reaction in the UK to all the news. I have no doubts in my mind that AFC are going to have a transformational year but the last few weeks have been a fooking joke with the dragging on the SP.

I don't think we've seen an appropriate market reaction here since before the Ricardo partnership. Who in their right mind would be selling out of here now ? Only someone intent on dragging the price down to allow a lower entry. Manipulation in play at its very worst.

The world asked for hydrogen and associated technology. A few companies have delivered. AFC being one of those. We should be celebrating this as we do with tesla and US fuel cell companies. Instead we (the UK market) treat this with contempt. Its a disgrace. This should be opening up not being held down.

Or Southport. EQT have just changed the name of one of the SPVs from Humbergate to Southport.

I know its a simplistic approach but we are not all experts and the enthusiasm is great. To this guy, investing in AFC is a no brainer. No over analysing, just well impressed with what he sees, and why shouldn't he be. Great video and very entertaining.

I started to buy back more steady stocks but cashed them in to give me some capital to play with. There has been some real bargains about last few days. Its been a bumpy ride. EQT has updated the market with some great news of late but the entire market has been putting pressure on everything. Needs to settle but things are certainly looking good for EQT. Still plenty of news flow to come relatively short term.
