Nskno. I think there is a lot factored in to the current SP. Only revenue is going to move this upwards. The UK Gov order of 200k tests per week is not an ongoing thing over the next 10 to 15 years and is unlikely to add £100m to the MCap. Orders from around the world will add more providing capacity is filled and orders placed. It doesn't take much to work out that much is factored in to this SP without orders.

How much real value is there in a government order ? 200k per week at 75p per test over 1 year or 3 max (dependent how people value the COVID 19 testing requirements)

It may provide some exposure for Omega but it is not where the money is.

Its a trademark application. This is in relation to a logo design or sign. It has nothing to do with orders. It just stops replica tests being sold under the same or similar logo.

I would imagine that the US will have umpteen rapid antibody test kits available as there are in the UK. You only have to do a Google search to find several on the first page.

That is not a deramp, it would be great for a UK company like ODX to succeed but there is significant amount of competition out there in the market place.

Sonofagun. Nobody can answer that with conviction as it is looking into the future. However, it is fair to believe that AFC will have received orders and be on the way to income generation by Q2 next year. If not that would mean that for the next 8 months AFC are doing nothing and working with nobody.

Given the current climate and move towards EVs, being carbon neutral, regulations around diesel generators and a move towards hydrogen it would be very hard to believe that as the being the case. As shareholders we should expect further partnerships this year. AB said as much in his statement in the interim RNS.

Its up to you and I to decide if we believe him or trust him. Personally, I think AFC are going to pull this off.

Haggis, yes there has been some negativity towards AFC. We should, as shareholders be positive towards the company and the products. They have never been in a better position.

Had CVD19 not appeared I feel we would be in a significantly different position. Poor timing I guess.

Anyway, things will change and AFC are looking ever more likely to be back on track albeit 4-6 months behind what we had anticipated.

No real fault of the BoD, just timing and circumstance. Starting to take a positive attitude will most certainly help if only to relieve the frustration. Our time will come, we should be postive of that.

OK. Let's just blame the BoD and AB. Nothing to do with COVID19 putting a stop to many business plans or at least slowing them down.

Still, it didn't stop Acciona and Extreme E from planning ahead and taking up a system.

Any business that is truly positive about going completely Green would look at the Extreme E system and think how that can be utilised to develop off grid hydrogen production and energy through other renewable sources on site such as wind or solar and where the only fuel or power charges they will have to pay in the future will be the water bill.

Grid upgrades are not free, there is no way of knowing that your energy is 100% renewable and you still have to pay your monthly bill for the units you use.

Designing bespoke systems will take time. I agree there could be some smaller diesel generator replacement sales and EV charger sales but AFC have shown us what they will be about going forward with the Extreme E deal, And that will really set them apart from the competition giving them a very strong USP

Well that great news. At least Waitrose/Ocado have the guarantee that they are charging their vehicles with completely green energy supplied by the grid.

Who knows where their on grid power is generated ?

Charging EVs from the power distribution network may not have emissions at point of charge but there is every chance that there is plenty of emissions being created at the source of generation.

Bring on the AFC Energy offgrid fuel and power generation equipment.

The Islington depot was opposed by resident and Ocado have since revised the plan to remove diesel storage and use full EV applying for a network upgrade to provide the power.

This is a or would be a great opportunity for AFC

MadTitan. I put the same on here yesterday. Yes. Some years ago AFC had an MOU with Waitrose.

Also, they have an Ijngton depot which is planned to be full EV. There has been several posts from what look like waitrose 'construction personnel' commenting about the AFC system and how it may be a great Green solution.

Not happy with the comms, me neither but what can they really disclose if they are in NDA's. That tells me that although its a secret if even just one or two come of they will be transformational.

For a business that truly wants green energy for vehicle charging AFC have a solution. Its very easy to drive an EV and plug into the grid, but do we truly know how that energy is generated. Could be nuclear (legacy issues) could be coal (unlikely but possible) could be CCGT (most probable but still burning fossil fuel). Truth is they may pay a tariff for 100% green energy but once the power is in the lines no body really knows.

AFC can play a major role in decarbonising EVs. As AB said why drive an EV then charge it from a diesel generator hidden behind a bush. I think he is ahead of the game and will be attracting the same forward thinking clients.

Garonne. Me too, very frustrated. I want it now but reality check, thats not the case. Be positive and it will make you feel better. Appreciate its hard if you are down but only you can do what makes you comfortable.

This is the first year AFC have had a commercial product and target market. They have delayed the build of the 160kw system due to COVID but have committed to building these as well as the Acciona system with the placing money. Give them a chance, deals will come, re read the outlook in last RNS. The world needs AFC products. The fact that they can tailor a solution to meet customer needs to include a complete of grid solution is not only a unique selling point it will give them a commercial advantage as they become a one stop shop.

Perhaps AB is not trusted or liked by the market but he has had to make that transition from R&D to commercial business and he will succeed. In 12 months time I think we will all be looking at this very differently. If we keep talking it down then what do you think is going to happen ?
