Looking at the heritage of the business TPG look in a more advanced position than ITM. Maybe having the word power in your company name can really add £1.4bn to it. Shame that hasn't had the same effect on AFC Energy.

I agree, ITM was reaching un realistic valuation. But what is the essential difference between what TPG are doing (well as they are making a consistent return) and what ITM are doing ?

I am also a holder of AFC Energy and feel that right now they are incredibly undervalued to its peers. I just don't get why companies such as TPG and AFC are not valued in line with their peers especially TPG. I wouldn't call ITM competition at the moment. TPG seem to be a much more mature organisation ? I am really surprised that I had not heard of them in this sector until recently.

Where are TP Group selling the hydrogen generation package ? Why has this not taken off like ITM Power ?
This company have cash in the bank and don't have all their eggs in one basket. Making an annual profit with a large pipeline of business ?

With Hydrogen so prominent and the best way to generate hydrogen is through waste/surplus energy (or using waste itself) through wind or maybe solar you would have though that this product alone would have taken off. Wit O2 as a by product from the system the system has now proven of use in hospital environment where the hydrogen would become the by product.

wouldn't look at them as a competitor though. AFC specialise in fuel cell development whereas TPG may not have the cost reductions or efficiencies presented by the AFC system

Venatici, thanks. TPG are a probably in a better financial position than most with a multitude of product offerings including the oxygen production units. Suprised they are not out front with some of the technology. Sounds quite an interesting business.

Not just that. Take a look at the financial position of TPG. They have cash in the bank and make a profit year on year. This must have been under the radar for some time ?

Precisely, AFC's main focus is power generation and membrane development which can be used in the production of hydrogen.

AFC don't produce hydrogen (Although they could using Alkamem in an electrolyser), AFC produce power from hydrogen. This would make TPG a potential partner.

I am just not convinced that making hydrogen using water and power is the most efficient way to generate power. TPG primarily make oxygen using their equipment and Hydrogen is a by product, but is commercial grade.

Making Hydrogen or Ammonia from waste is a much more efficient way than taking something, breaking it into its component parts then using those components to turn it back to what you broke in the first place.

Steady this morning, clearly more buying than sells. Steady is what you want, no nasty spikes.

Can only be that. Otherwise you would drip feed the market allowing it to rise. There has been plenty of upward pressure lately but these large chunk sell orders have depressed the price as you have said.

I can understand that. Did a bit of research on the competition last night. I could only really find some very cheap looking equipment.

However, its a huge market and there is plenty of room for a few manufacturers.

What is interesting is the overall interest in hydrogen generation. Not so much in respect of what its used for. Thankfully, as AFC have stated in an RNS the Alkamem membrane provides not only the option for power generation but also the option for hydrogen generation. Its a win win.

As mcmikeyh said, and not one to run down the achievement, ITM's figures are relatively modest. Athansius points out that a small share of the EV funding could rerate the MCap significantly. I personally think that AFC Energy will stand on their own two feet but any funding is a real positive and can only boost the drive towards a green economy

What happens to your AIM shares ? I am assuming that they will either be replaced with HKex shares in CNEL or they will be paid out at the price on the migration date ? Is that why 11p is the target price as this is equates to minimum MCap for HKex ?

Is CNEL going to be a dual listing or solely on the HKex ?
