Great news this morning. I've had to read it twice to get my head around all the tonnage.
With the copper price at $6466 and the all in cost of the concentrate at $4,000 that leaves $2466 for refining and profit.
I'm not sure what the costs are for refining?

This has got to be the best joint venture I have ever been invested in.
June 2019 I was excited by the prospects:-
Stage 1 - a 12 month plan
Stage 2 - another 12 months from stage 1
Stage 3 - another 24 months from stage 2
Stage 4 - another 24 months from stage 3

14 months on and it's well into stage 3 on coarse for completion by xmas or might be sooner and I wouldn't be surprised if Newcrest are working on the Full Feasibility study.

I didn't think you were having a go at my maths at all and I know my maths needs correcting .
You've missed some crucial points from your summary though:-
That it's the biggest find in WA if proved of course and the 5 anomalies cover 200 sq km.
That's not to say it covers the whole of the zone and more survey work is required.
Drilling exploration is needed to confirm its existence

What I know about the geology up there it's not the same as Havieron.
The gold mining will be different it's not breccias it's paleo-placing more sedimentary at the base of Mt Roe basalt, so it won't be open at depth.
For that reason I'm expecting layers of minerals.
I expect Magic will put me right on that.

I have a few PHE not many at 1.5p now 3.6 so done ok but they only have the patent to turn waste plastic to Hydrogen and just sell the licence for income early days but could grow from today's price as market increases.
ITM is my favourite play worlds largest electrode manufacture fascility in Sheffield nearing completion, jv with Shell,Toyota, Linde and others.
When Ggp were around 4p ITM was about 60% of my portfolio but with the price movements of both its flipped round.
Definitely a lot of future growth there, as there is here

One of the minerals that comes out of the copper concentrate is cobalt but in a cobalt ore copper is seen as an impurity.
At Panorama they've surveyed right down the Central zone through the North and South licences.
In the stream analysis in the north gold seems to be the main target with one exceeding 2,000ppb which is at its limits.
In the south the stream analysis has picked up cobalt samples over a 25km x 10km zone at 0.99%.
The gravity surveys have picked out 5 anomalies in this area of around 200 sq km. That's huge and described as possibly the biggest find in Western Australia. These anomalies are all within the Greatland Licence.
Prices this morning rose 8% to $33,200 but down from its low of $100,000 in 2018.

Nobody came back on my post this morning so I'm presuming my assumption at 1m depth of ore over 200 sq km of
$192b value is somewhere near but FSA said I had one too many 0's but that's still $19b.
At $100,000 p t I'm not attempting any calculation:))
I wish someone better at maths would play about with the figures cos that's blown my mind :))))))

I'm not all in here 60% and rising
ITM hydrogen 25% has though been my best performing stock since October and won't be selling them either.
My local pub reopened on Monday Rose and Crown, Severn Stoke, after the February floods so myself and a few friends met up and talked Greatland most of the time. £5 for a meal great stuff :))

For me I'm not looking to invest in other miners, Ggp has all the growth prospects imaginable, whether it's gold, silver, copper, cobalt or the smaller ones like lanthanum and cerium.

A significant geochemical response similar to the Havieron signature.
It represents a large bullseye feature and is a high priority target

Has 2 distinct high magnetic anomalies.
New ground gravity data has defined 3 targets in that area
Los Diablos :-
A bullseye high intensity magnetic anomaly
Prefect :-
A high amplitude magnetic anomaly

I hope they start exploring the Cobalt at Panorama soon described as the largest Cobalt find in Western Australia. 200sq km cobalt anomalies and stream sampling high at .99%.
At £32,000 per ton and rising it's a huge resource.
On the BBC web site last year there is a piece on seabed mining for Cobalt. The EU are funding a trial called the Blue Nodule, the sea bed ecology will be destroyed.
The Uk to meet it's commitment to have all electric cars by 2050 will need all the worlds cobalt production.
The price can only rise back to it's high of $100,000 pt with pent up demand.

200 sq km x assuming 1m thick = 200,000,000 cu m or about 600,000,000 t at .99% = about 6m tons of Cobalt.
It's huge :))

The way the Chinese are controlling Cobalt the price can only get stronger.
At $30,000 pt then 6m ton of Cobalt =$180,000,000,000 that seems extremely high and that is for only 1m thick.
I'm not even going to make an attempt at $100,000pt all time high the figures are absurd :)))

A highlight for me from Panorama:-
200 square km Cobalt anomalies with 5 areas of localised zones.
The Cobalt zone is looking like the largest Cobalt resource in WA and Ggp licence covers most of this zone.
It's not saying it's all Cobalt but if it was only 1m thick that's 600m ton at a high of 0.99% is around 6m tons.
Prices of Cobalt hit an all time high of $100,000 per ton before falling back to $30,000 pt in 2018.
The Congo is the biggest producer of Cobalt with China controlling most of that and the car battery market.

Gold anomalies found nearly all the way through the central zone
Significant results in the soil samples with 4 over 100ppb and 1 exceeding the limits of over 2000ppb
Multiple discreet gold samples in soil anomalies over 600m x 200m of around 50ppb

I'm not so sure that Ggp will ever get to be a producer.
My Gran used to say tosucceed in life stick to what you know.
Ggp are excelling in exploration I would imagine the Majors know that.
Ggp are not miners and the costs are huge. The waste management is huge.

I for one would be quite happy with another jv with NCM and the sp rising another 300%

On your post about the Mining Lease, the lease is not for the whole of E45/4701 it's just for Havieron. As far as i'm aware they need to provide details of mining methods , environmental issues, waste management + other issues. I doubt whether any of these will apply to Scallywag.
My initial comment about NCM owning the 40% and making an offer for it was only in the context of the heading "a bit of fun" but it turned into some sort of critical debate so on the more serious side of it here's my view.
Ggp as a small exploration company would have taken years and years and years to prove up the Havieron asset with huge amount of dilution and debt.
Ggp only drilled 6 holes from memory and NCM were hooked by the findings and are on course for spending $65m in less than 2 years making Ggp Market Cap multi millions in that time with no outlay apart from giving up 70% of Havieron.
Without NCM Ggp wouldn't have got very far to be honest in those 2 years.
Now look at Scallywag 5 big targets London, Blackbeard, Blackhill South, Barbossa and the best Kraken anyone of these could match Havieron or get near to it.
If Ggp have to get debt for mining operations there will not be the amount of cash available for all these targets + any other license work. 5 targets at Scallywag you could be looking $200-300m for drilling exploration.

My tongue in cheek remark about NCM making an offer for Scallywag before relinquishing them back to Ggp for me is a serious option.
NCM could offer to pay our mining costs plus the 9 rigs at Havieron could eventually move on to Scallywag with similar free ride to mining for Ggp.
Ggp would be on course for 25% of a vast mining area.
For those that don't see that just have a read of the surveys and sampling results which are similar to Havieron.
Scallywag is not the spratt to catch a mackerel a target on Blackhill North Saddlereef anamoly has been extended to 1400m.
There's a whale out there somewhere, Goliath maybe or the 200 sq kilometre of Cobalt on Panorama or maybe 2 whales :))

The way I see it Ggp own the license 100%.
The joint venture covers the Havieron area. To obtain the Mining Lease E45/4701 Newcrest need to have legal rights to their 40% share and the exploration lease will be split into 2 with Havieron JV having the Mining Lease and Ggp 100% of the exploration area not covered in the Mining Lease i.e. Scallywag and Blackhill South.
