Well I've been looking around and I've found a licence with some good historical surveys
stream analysis have found 320g/t
Geochemistry analysis
gold 4,450ppb
copper 3.2%
3 zones central 1,000m strike
west 800x400m
east 2km

Looks really interesting, I think I am going to have a dabble , it's got well over a million ounces in the central zone alone and loads of copper.

Kraken
From the cross section on the web site the coincidence of the gravity and magnetic surveys look to have about a 250m dia and approx 500m deep which =
Area 49,000 sq m
Volume = approximately 24.5m cu m
The coincidence is a lot smaller than Havieron.
From the cross section though the anomaly can be seen extending NW and finishing abruptly in the SE. They have drilled in the NW where the MMI survey picked up a high copper site.

The exciting unknown is the 3D model has shown the anomaly widening out to about 1200m dia at 1,000m depth assuming it's a bullseye feature and continuing to get larger further down.
So at about 1000m depth the area is around 1.1m square metres.
The shape is roughly an upside down cone

Rough estimated volume = 377m cubic metres of the 3D anomaly .
Havieron has approx 176m.
That's about double the size of Havieron.
Kraken is roughly 1.1bn tons.

Bit of wide speculation on my part using low average grades:-
If you relate the average grades of copper at Havieron to Kraken at a conservative 0.175% = nearly 2m tons @Kraken and 850,500 @ Havieron.

Using a low estimate
Gold @ 0.2g/t = 7.7m oz

Using the same average as Havieron of 0.75g/t
At Havieron 0.75g/t = 11.7m oz
At Kraken 0.75g/t = 27m oz

Well that's what I thought of it.

Now look what Goldworm thinks ( a little snippet)

The jorc report is nothing outstanding 0.4g/t.

I can't imagine a takeover happening yet, any move by Newcrest on GGP will bring in others. All the joint ventures around would really complicate things.
What I am expecting and have been for a while is Newcrest taking a 10 or 20% stake in GGP.
Look what happened to ITM this time last year, Linde the owners of BOC bought 20% of a rights issue at 40p by March were £3. You could argue they're not worth a 1bn value but are in a a high growth market. They have many joint ventures with Shell Toyota and others who didn't move in as well but still could.
This is the sort of thing I'm expecting and might overshadow the MRE and Decline start.
With the tie up with Newcrest and the Telfer plant , Ggp have appealing assets and as we've witnessed one is know good without the other, we need the plant and their knowledge and they need our exploration prowess and assets.
Who knows what's going to happen,

Have you seen the google satellite images of Telfer with the conveyors coming out of the 2 Decline Portals with the crushed ore from below.
It's an interesting image especially the size of the tailings

Did you read Goldworm's post late last night re the MMI survey and my mentioning of the Arsenic figures.
He says if arsenopyrites are there which he suspects there could be gold down there as it always comes with gold.
If they're having to go deeper because of grades, then they can keep going for as long as they want, as far as i'm concerned.

Looking at Google satellite image of Australia I thought there were 2 big clouds roughly over Cadia. When I zoomed in it wasn't clouds it was the tailings dams, absolutely massive.
Anyway the reason I was looking was to see how far Blayney is from Cadia 32km.
That's how far they pipe the copper concentrate to a new railhead where they have built a new dewatering plant for the concentrate.
Alongside the plant there is a train with 52 tankers presumably for the concentrate.

The tailings dam at Telfer is also massive.
Interesting though there looks like 3 conveyors going to the processing storage area from 2 Decline Portals and another which looks like a pit head.

One thing that is puzzling about Cobalt it is very rarely found as an ore and when you look at Panorama it shows 200square kilometres of cobalt anomalies with no mention of copper, nickel or zinc that it normally comes with.
I found that intriguing :))

Gervaise has said the MMI survey at Havieron were remarkably accurate to what they eventually found, considering it's a near surface tool that seems quite remarkable.
It's not guaranteed to be accurate only the drilling can tell us for sure but it does look like copper is dominant but the bonus maybe another Gervaise quote "don't discount the arsenic it comes with its own suite of minerals "
Arsenic is an impurity in the copper concentrate but as an arsenide it can contain PGEs the Platinum Group of Elements such as Platinum,Rhodium, Palladium all rare and high priced commodities

From my working out and removing the Dyke volumes @1,000m deep gives 486m tons.
Using the only % we have published of 0.175% in the sulphide zone if that figure is used as an average
486m x0.175% = 850,500 tons
Global average Cobalt extraction from copper flows are averaging 0.24%

Therefore at Havieron at a copper content of 0.175% = 2,041 tons of Cobalt
At 0.4% copper content = 4,665 tons

Therefore the value of the refined Cobalt cathodes is somewhere between $67m and $154m .

If the copper grades rise so does the Cobalt.
If the copper concentrate is sold to smelters then a pricing formula is used
% copper (28%)x reference price, plus credits for precious metals, minus debits for unwanted minerals (arsenic and mercury), minus penalties, minus shipping and insurance costs.
so 28% of $6800 = $1,904 +credits-debits

When did that happen?
They're both still an "E" licence not "M"

You could be right I'm hoping Havieron will be a bigger copper producer than Winu, it's a possibility.
BHP have converted one of their mines to solar and is now the largest solar farm in WA.
With all the licences opening up around Telfer it would make a lot of sense to turn it into a refinery as well. The infrastructure is the only problem with that, so a new solar farm and perhaps a hydrogen fascility as well. Water is the main issue, as I pointed out at the Olympic Dam they're struggling for water.
The copper concentrate is a powder and at Cadia it's pumped through a pipe to a port( not sure how far that is).

I'm still on the assumption Scallywag will be more copper but when Gervaise said don't dismiss the Arsenic I'm hopeful of sulphides.
