I have to agree with Hydrogen about a new processing plant needed for Havieron especially after last nights results.
Initial plans look like to truck ore from H but when you look at how much one road train can carry 136tons it would take over 400 of them a day to keep Telfer going at max.
A railroad seems the obvious answer but when Newcrest and Antipa Wilki project gets going there will be less room for Havieron materials.
After last night the new tonnages are starting to approach 600-700m. This is going to give someone a logistical headache :))
A new plant to me would be an obvious thing to do in the future, even if it was part of the process to reduce the amount of transportable ore to Telfer

Just thought I would show how an increase in area effects the volumes:-
@1,000m depth and 0.75g/t
650x350 = 11.7m oz
700x350 = 12.5m oz
750x350 = 13.6m oz
800x350 = 14.4m oz

It will take a big increase to really effect the quantities whereas a small increase in the depth has a much larger effect on the quantities.
Any small increase in a grade average has an exponential effect on the quantities.

I think the drill was 48 but not certain, the only measurement I can work out for the depth of the eastern zone is c350m, I would be astonished if it went up to the top of the ore body but the plan shows a slice through at about 600m below surface so it could theoretically be 1200m deep or more that's 5m oz @2g/t.

Well astonishing log results.
I have said watch out for grades or depths increases to lift the quantities, well we have the depths.
Officially we've been told now 1100m but looking at the logs I think it needs to be more like 1250m and still open.
The grades average also looks to be more >1g/t
My original calculations @0.75g/t and 1000m = 11.7m oz
@1100m x 0.75 = 12.8m oz
@1250m x 0.75 = 14.5m oz

@1100mx 1g/t = 17.3m oz
@1250m x 1g/t = 19.8 m oz

The additional area to the NW and SE didn't have much impact on my figures at the moment.

The additional eastern area is astounding
the size looks around 300m x 100m x an estimated 350m from the drill logs but it could be deeper and would another 1m oz. The depth of it though is deeper somewhere between 1800 and 2200m below surface. No wonder the eastern step out drills missed it.

The schematics average grade for the sulphide SE crescent 3-5g/t looks to have increased.
Without the extra depth I'm happy with my calculations for this zone of 7.4m oz in the breccias surrounding the sulphides and 2.4m oz in the sulphide .

If you're right and the breccias came first could this weakness around both crescents be caused shrinkage away from the existing and then the the sulphides filling the cracks.

Well I'm a bit taken aback by the depths.
I'm looking at drill hole 84
342m @ 2g/t from 1577m so that's about 1877m below surface to 2219m below surface.
The size scaling it off is about 300x100x approx 350m deep
@2g/t that's around another 1m oz
plus 0.2% copper.

There's a couple of drills gone through the zone what I called the NW concreted breccias pipe which they are now calling the NW crescent enclosure.
It looks as though that has expanded outwards slightly.

So the MRE is going to be only around the SE crescent and it looks like some of the drills have gone deeper under it and bulged out Southeastwards . That's drill 53w1 that's sticking out about 30-50m from the crescent at a depth of around 1550 to 1650m @1.4g/t.
The extra depth under the sulphide is extending mineralisation to below where I was expecting possibly another 250m.
This would have the effect of lifting my figures possibly by 25% but some of the existing drill holes at these depths have low grades.

Overall all my calculations so far look very low now and I will need to do a recount.

I was trying to be conservative with my £4bn .
The biggest catalyst in my opinion would be a Newcrest buy in of say 10-20% as I have mentioned before the 20% stake by Linde into ITM this time last year sent the price rocketing from 40p to £3+. I'm not suggesting Ggp could match that but could hit £1.50 with that scenario.

I don't normally get involved with price predictions, I just prefer to focus on what we have asset wise.
At the moment the share price is probably about right or a little bit under for what we have.
Confirmation of what Havieron has will have a positive effect and increase the value.
Progressive working on other fields firming up the value will also increase the sp.
You know I'm not a ramper but after the results of Kraken, Goliath , Los Diablos and Parlay, the mine Decline starting and the MRE the sp should be on it's way to a £.
If you take low asset values to each target it's quite easy to get to £4bn after all Havieron has pushed us to nearly £1bn.
If Kraken has similar results to H and is double the size, what value would people put on it £1bn, £2bn.

According to the cross sections on the web site Kraken is about 175m down and Blackbeard about 125m down.
Not sure where 50m has come from but I think GH said it.

Your $50m seems extremely low for 50% for a good find and is nowhere near the terms at Havieron or the deal with Antipa.

I'm hoping/expecting more information tonight on GH remark about the sulphide volumes within the New Breccias area and hopefully more news on that deep concreted Breccias pipe in the northern area of the ovoid.
I'm not really expecting much on any extensions to the ovoid, remember even a 100m extension wouldn't add much to the volumes and tonnage, when you use the formula to work it out you have to halve any extension length.

It was an American firm Occidental that were building it but stopped it to redesign for North Sea oil, then I went to Dartford Tunnel.
I see Altura Mining have gone, I hope no one here was with them.
My friend David asked is it time to sell some Ggp yesterday I said WHOA not yet let the dust settle maybe a few in the New Year but even then be wary.
He asked why and what price can I see.
I gave him today's obvious answer with the update but then the Kraken news.
If they find good quantities of gold at Kraken, this would be unexpected and could spike the price, if there's good copper quantities this could under pin a price spike.
Later we have the MRE figures, confirmed inferred volumes .
News of the Box cut starting.
The results from Blackbeard and London plus the drill to the North West.
Then moving on to Goliath.
Plus more exploration Newcrest results from the rest of Havieron.
I can only see upward movements but maybe a very bumpy ride.

Speculation
I'm still expecting a buy in from Newcrest maybe 20%
I'm half expecting some of Newcrest rigs to move to Kraken

I thought the BPC lot were very blinkered and gave me a lot of stick some right plonkers, sorry but they did get my back up.
If that drill is a success then fair play but what a risk and thelearner agrees with me on that.
If it is a success how are they going to get the oil out, the drill ship will leave a xmas tree on the sea floor until a receiver ship comes $850m for one well , I don't think so.

I normally spend hours researching a company before I buy maybe 3-6 months, but it didn't take me long with this one.
I believe Tom was the first one who followed me and to be honest the amount he put in frightened me. I told him many times to diversify which I am a strong believer after 3 disasters Taylor Woodrow, Cerp and Sound Energy.
We got a lot of stick from posters who hate AIM shares but many eventually followed and it's saved so many portfolio's during these hard times.
A lot of friends have followed too even my financial advisor out of the Bank :))
A friend is still in Cerp believing the drill off the Bahamas will get him his losses back, what a big enormous risk that is, I feel for him and others still there. I hope it still works out.
I have to say I can't see any negatives with Ggp at the moment but I would probably be the first to mention any if they materialised.
I was very pro Cerp management and then they ditched us for the merger with BPC I was very vocal in my opposition to it, but with my positive frame of mind I moved it all here and very pleased I did too.

For me that tonnage remark wasn't aimed at copper, he is referring to the new sulphide zone within the bulk tonnage of the New breccias zone .
The sulphides will have a higher specific gravity than the breccias increasing the tonnage .

If that figure of 3.2% copper was used at Havieron the tonnage would go up from 2m to 15m tons.

There's so much to look forward to, why look elsewhere and definitely not too late to invest here
