The first zone where HAD005 went through the grades are just tremendous but go a bit further down and the grades drop off .
Taking a 2m ton plan as I’ve mentioned in previous posts the grades in that first zone average out at 8.22g/t when you get passed 40m the average drops off then after the Dyke shoot up again.
Initially the grades will be high for a 2m ton plan but when you increase the tonnage by 50% the average grades drop off with more breccia coming out and therefore ounces will not reflect the amount of tonnage removed.
In the second year the grades will be totally different up and down like a yo yo making life at Telfer difficult they need a constant grade.
The mining captain will be selecting grades from different stopes to try and give Telfer a consistent grade but this needs more fronts opening up.

Yes this is very familiar but I’m thinking of the 1.6p days . Stuck for ages in that range I nearly sold out then. What a mistake that would have been.

I’ve tried to explain this a few times
The MMRE included both sulphides and breccia.
The PFS excluded huge volumes of surrounding breccia.
The MRE2 will take into account the increase in volumes of sulphides that information has replaced a lot of the surrounding breccia.
The FS will be designed around this new information, that is 3m ton per year mining plan.
It will not involve any new areas

The 50% increase is all to do with the mining plan increasing from 2m ton to 3m ton it has nothing to do with ounces
The 2m ton covers a high grade zone
3m ton covers a zone with lower grades bringing the average down
Therefore it can’t be easy just to say the ounces will be 50% higher that is not the case.
The MRE has absolutely nothing to do with the mining plan.
It’s all about increasing the reserves and resources estimates, it’s a complex zone of differing grades and volumes

There are groups going around Tasmania finding old mines their objective is to photograph as many mines as they can , bit like bird watching, one of these mines is Star of the West in north of Firetower lost in amongst a dense woodland

The MRE2 is a complex calculation of volumes.
You have to back to the MMRE and look at the plans showing the cubes or shells, this is where the Inferred resource came from.
In the PFS they only picked out the high grade sulphides to be upgraded from inferred to indicated, the surrounding breccia were omitted due to it not being drilled enough.
The information for both are way out of date, the passed 12 months they’ve been infill drilling, the breccia volumes surrounding the sulphides has diminished considerably as the sulphides have grown in size and grades. It’s these that will be changed to indicated.
They’ve been infilling the remaining breccia surrounding the sulphides and also the breccia in the northern corridor which were in the MMRE.
It’s hard to pick out how much of the breccia will be changed to indicated and how many further breccia will be included in the inferred.
Anything below 650m is likely to be inferred but there is a possibility of a portion of the SE deeps may be drilled enough to be indicated.

18 months ago I worked out that there would be 2.5m oz in the sulphides and 5-7m oz in the breccia down to the 650m level , so if this MRE2 gets to 10m oz combined inferred and indicated I will be way pleased but not disappointed if it doesn’t , it’s in a progression that will continue to grow for years.

Why would Ggp want to give away two potential 1m oz+ targets, it seems daft to me

The 6m ton operation was for a sub level caving mining plan that plan has been put to one side for now.
SD was very confident about the 3m ton operation and has superseded the 2m plan.
It’s coincidental that there is around 2m ton in the first zone to be operated.
The 65ton trucks getting it out of the mines is an issue 127 per day
There’s still the transport issue of road trains being used.
A 3 bed Volvo can carry 125 ton
The 5 bed Australian make can carry upto 300 ton
That’s 66 x 3 bed or 28 x 5bed per day
That is extremely challenging without involving a crusher on site.
Bulking factor could be well over 3 times the volume with broken rock meaning more air voids less tonnage in each wagon, crushing it smaller equals less air voids.

I believe the SE deeps source to be a bit further southeast from the lower fault line 200-300m maybe but a lot lower.
The Eastern Breccia source I reckon is under the end of Drill 90 way out from where 104 finished.

Each intrusion would have found it’s a own line of weakness to follow, like volcanoes when they spill out in different directions .
The Dyke was formed later after all the intrusions but allows us now to follow it downwards to pinpoint where the fault line/source might be and it’s definitely sloping hundreds of metres to the southeast. Which is why I’m assuming Havieron north was drilled too far to the west

No evidence yet of any high grade between the Eastern Breccia and SE deeps, certainly not in drill 90 which is one of our deepest and splits the two.
I still think they are 2 different intrusions, after all they will be 2 of many

We already know it’s 50% higher than PFS.
I’ve said before there is going to be 3m ton operation not a 2m ton.
The fact is the first Western front holds about 2m tons , so another front or fronts to opened up has to happen to get to 3m

Remember the AISC$643 is an average on the whole of the crescent MRE.
The first production zone in the first year will be unique in Havieron terms, the very top zone in the top of the Western front has some unique grades.
This zone contains 1-2m tons where HAD005 went through giving average grades of 8.22g/t and 3% copper.
To get to this ore from the decline there is about 200m access tunnel and then a further Western Access of 170m and then all the stoping tunnels going off into the ore the costs will be small $10-15m
3% average copper grade at $10,188 pt is $150m in the first year.
Progressing onto the Eastern front and deeper into the 2nd level the grades decrease a bit and the costs increase a bit

In China last year there were 300m cars.
In a list of cars per capita they were 74th.
They have seen exceptional growth in recent years.
Their mandate is to have 40% electric cars by 2030 that works out at around 120m

The USA has c250m cars their mandate is to have 50% electric cars by 2030 so that’s 125m

Both together that makes 245m with no growth factored in.

Each electric car has about 183lbs of copper so that’s 12 cars per ton copper
That’s 20.5m tons just for these 2 countries just for electric cars

Globally last year 20m tons was produced from mining.
Global demand was 25m the shortfall came from recycled scrap copper

With the lack of big copper mines coming on stream the supply shortfall of copper is going to be very tight

I’m talking about $70m per month for that initial stoping operation from the top level of the Western front after that it will tail off.
HAD5 gold averages
0-20m deep 8.22g/t
20-30m deep 60g/t
30-76m (where it hits the Dyke) 1.2g/t
Increases again after the Dyke

Copper averages 2-3% upto the Dyke then afterwards spikes to numerous 8% and one 12% (a Havieron record)

That 1.2g/t over a long length will drop the revenues

8.22g/t is for gold only
That top section is rich in copper averaging 3% in HAD005
I’m looking at $70m per month initially, dropping off steeply as they move into other areas and the grades drop especially for the copper

I missed an important bit the 4.5g/t eq was up to Feb 2021, the volumes and grades of the sulphides have been increasing continually, so this figure is very low
