Without revenue at present we can’t pay attractive salaries for any of the Board members, share options are the obvious attractions.
People who spout that they haven’t earned their money really don’t know what they’re talking about.
Jimmy Wilson has certainly earn this money in the Joint Venture meetings with Newcrest.
We don’t know what Banks and Institutions would have invested without the Chairman and Deputy Chairman

4 years on we are now maybe in a position to pursue Havieron on a 100% basis, but 4 years ago definitely not, even 9 months ago.
Still a very big ask to do it.

Artemis own 100% of theirs, take a look at their RNS today.
Chairman gone to save costs, not a lot of drilling funds for Apollo Juno etc

There’s no way we Ggp could have afforded 100% of this project on its own.
Even the environmental report was an enormous undertaking.
In 4 years of drilling at 6-10 holes per year that’s 24-40 holes and they wouldn’t be deep and there would be no decline.
The West dome at Telfer had 5100 holes

Remarks like that are uncalled for, as Callum says Ggp are in a win win position

Offloading Havieron big question mark

I doubt if many could answer your question, a few of my thoughts if Ggp take over Telfer and Havieron :-
Telfer weak is just about covering all costs at the plant.
More Ore needs to be found for this to continue until Havieron starts producing.
3mt from Havieron will make more revenues than Telfers 20m ton of week ore.

Havieron infrastructure needs a rethink to allow capex to come out of free cash flow
One way of doing this is keep as shallow as possible from say the top 300m without progressing the Decline downwards. 3mt should be achieved easily from that zone.

There would be no tolling charge only transport costs.
NCM AISC is said to be $743 , I would expect the same plus an increase in processing costs

That’s a bigger diameter blind bore rig than last time, if that’s a chap on the top of the casing then could be around a 5m diameter.
In the PFS mining plan there was talk of a 4.8m diameter vent hole for an Evasee fan perhaps it’s for that.

These big companies just look at present margins.
Just look at what there walking into:-
Telfer - a processing plant that may be under used till Havieron bulk mining starts.
A large area of licences surrounding it that have to be paid for.
Tailings damns care and maintenance
Telfer reinstatement
Joint venture with Antipa costs

Havieron
A tier 2 mine at present outside Newmonts strategy .
Large Capex to fund to start production and future development .
Jv with Ggp
Infrastructure and renewable investments.

Why wouldn’t they except an offer from Shaun with a royalty?
Their mentality is buy it later when it’s ready and risks have gone.
It’s in play as far as I can see.

Be daft though to dispose it but brilliant for Ggp, massive step up.

I’m expecting the Decline to get to 1705m on the 27th, plus the 300m ancillary works already completed and possibly a little bit more with the small off shoots and if they’ve reached the next vent position (don’t think they have).

I don’t know the terms of the contract but Ggp would gain back 100% of PRE and the Blackhills jv may have to be rewritten if they want to keep that.

Does that not put pressure on Telfer to be owned by Ggp or another single entity.
