GGP haven’t explored large areas of southern Panorama licence where there is reported to be Western Australias most prominent cobalt resource.

I’m suspecting this area to contain nickel laterites hosting the cobalt. Long way off knowing yet I would assume

Wrong geology for tin, this is totally different to Havieron, most of the gold is classed as paleo- placer where it’s accumulated in layers and from that RNS they’ve said nickel has collected in traps.

The gold placer from previous Surveys is said to be 6-9km long, because it’s not been drilled yet we don’t know how thick.

Panorama though is a multi commodity licence:-

Gold, cobalt, nickel, lithium, copper, zinc, lead.

There are large pegmatites/ lithium deposits to the north and west, also Thor have drilled and reported from Ragged Range on the east. Westar have reported lithium to the west side with pegmatite outcrops.

24 conductors identified, 12 of which are sulphide conductors in the Dalton suite.

This was a thread where I highlighted the areas to find certain minerals.

They’ve confirmed my nickel, zinc and gold assumptions. There’s still the cobalt, copper and lithium out there.

Nickel sulphides are the best or easiest to process similar to copper floatation . Laterites are problematic, environmentally unfriendly processing.

I doubt if you could’ve have sold anyway the demand caused the buy and sell price to widen dramatically, I was offered 7p so didn’t take it

Just think if we had all sold it would have gone to 0p very quickly and very fast. Most would not have achieved any real high prices.

This reminds me of Ukog hitting 11p hardly anyone achieved that high price because of the rapid sell orders. Selling has destroyed UKOG sp.

Holding has preserved value in Ggp and although it went too low put a floor on most people’s portfolios.

Tungsten is the latest political metal play with Chins banning exports and the US rushing to find their own supplies.

Tungsten could be a mineral credit at Havieron especially on the Northern mining front first few levels

Overnight Black Canyon resources announced a major manganese find plus lead, copper, zinc, silver.

They have a joint venture with Carawine, both of these hold large areas to the SW of Nifty close to the 2 new Ggp applications of Oakover river.

Big copper, cobalt zone.

The chap who led the Northern Star exploration team during their expansion has joined Westar.

Westar have the licence to the west of Panorama and been finding allsorts of outcrops and a 200g/t nugget and pegmatite .

There’s a lot on this thread on what they are finding, hopefully with our geologists at Panorama they will be coming back to the office with “look what I found”

This application is still pending as far as I know.

Neighbours to the West are Encounter resources . IGO are farming in to that licence.

A copper, cobalt and zinc area.

They’ve drilled 5 diamond drills and 26 air core holes from late June.

His wife told me that he really appreciated the card that the Stroud gang all signed last month and thanks everyone who contributed.

Although I don’t feel Scallywag will set the sp flying on the next results, getting back to Rudall next year may have the desired effect.

Rudall has been amalgamated into Scallywag.

Why has this been done, well I’ve been scratching my head thinking about this. I see 2024 as being a year of deals. I can’t see Newmont holding on to these small joint ventures and definitely not managing them. Ggp are likely to get the management of Juri back and could take over the management of the Wilki jv with Antipa and also the licences surrounding Telfer. Throwing in Scallywag into the mix. Use the Newmont exploration fund for them to keep their feet in the door.

Just me speculating but that’s what I would go for.

Finding pegmatite at Panorama could also get Rio interested furthering additional tie ups and jv. Pegmatites are there the licence to the west has evidence of it running up to our border and beyond. Thor have found it on the east as well. Rio seem desperate to increase their share of the lithium market.

The cores may have been taken to the Havieron core yard in 2 separate trucks there they need inspecting, selecting, cut in half and sent to Perth.

I asked Shaun in London in September is his favourite drill still Decka or is it now Pearl and A35.

From that I’m not expecting major news from Pearl as I said in a previous post their objectives are Tier 1 targets, I think Pearl and A35 are smallish targets may be mined at a later date.

Pearl is supergene target where a thick strata of ore has collected in a trap and overflowed down a very broken up fault zone by the looks of it.

Although the mineralisation looked high grade in places it may not fit into the company objectives.

I hope it’s more than I think it is!

There’s 3 types of underground drills:-

Jumbo long drills, 8m length of drill

Rock and anchor drills 6-8m length

Exploration drills with a 360 degree turn on the drill head

I’ve only found one long length on the specs I’ve just looked at and that was 238m. There are loads of different types

Well there’s other things going on like the Epiroc underground raise bore machine on its way from Perth to Telfer then on to Havieron.

It’s the orange machine with the short stub drill assembly on the front, I’ve got the spec somewhere from memory I think it can drill 5-600m but need to check that

The Havieron drilling campaign finished in June.

It’s too deep for further drilling and very expensive.

Part of the purpose of doing an exploration Decline is to get down to the ore body where fan drilling can start. This drilling will have intercepts wholly in the ore and not through waste rock so far more efficient.

The fan drilling can only go so far down so there will be a series of levels for drilling all the way down. Don’t expect the first level of fan drilling to get down to the Eastern Breccia it’s too far for it

Shaun told me a few weeks ago that there is a lot happening as they close out the year.

One of the things happening is the 40% surrender issues with Strickland and the Telfer Dome projects. TD has already been submitted. Strickland has 3 weeks left and Ggp are trying to sort out the heritage issues for a drilling campaign next year.

The modelling of Stingray and Decka is continuing.

Drilling campaign on Pearl, Swan, A34 and 35 plus Shaun said in London they’d drilled Pascalle, I’ve not seen any satellite info to confirm that.

Modelling of Rudall still ongoing.

Geologists still on the field in Panorama preparing a survey/ drilling campaign.

Heritage permissions ongoing in Ernest Giles and Yannarie.

Newcrest had 2 scenarios in the last report there was short term price of $1500 for the likes of Telfer and the open pit at Red Chris both of which are running out of ore, so their future short range estimates can be higher.

The other scenario is the long term future estimates where higher discounts are used and this is the bracket Havieron comes into and from memory I think it was $1350.

This isn’t the sale value of the goods, it’s to make sure that the mine is viable over its Life.

Ggp have lower overheads and the discounted estimates are higher $1650 I believe.

Looks very good in the accounts when the gold price moves upwards increasing revenues, margins and profits but the reverse can happen so best to keep the figure on the low side.
