I would suggest it isnt as its not an ongoing unavoidable operating cost. It has a duration that isnt really connected to mining operations. This is how i try to understand what should and should NOT be included in the AISC and what should just be recorded on the annual accounts.

I dont know, but every time I see a rediculous article about interest rates and inflation it makes me laugh.

I sense a lot of gest and satire in Quasar's post. I don't think he is genuinely a negative bod. I think his banter is very cynical, as is mine.

BUT the point about knocking round somewhere with no interest is unexplainable, to me anyway.

Yep, its a great step in the longer term mission of Hummingbird. I think everyone may be a little set back by the workings of the deal.

I have to continue to think, this is all for the long term good of the business... because reading the RNS my gut feeling is we are conceding a fair amount over a longer period of time rather than paying for the mine in a more defined complete transaction of cash/borrowings?

I wonder if people have been a bit surprised by this and just processing if it feels like what they were or were not expecting...

Lets get the thing built and start paying that government, I mean making more money!

And a lot of that is about image, direction and presence in the right places at the right time.

I have just messaged Matt Bohlsen over at Seeking Alpha who does the monthly Nickel roundup.

He added URU as a footnote a few years ago. But hoping with the new listing he might do a bit more of a write up.

We can only try right. We have to get some level of validation and support from the wider community in our new territories (Canada).

I just had another quick look over the presentation. Its a good read. I urge all potential investors and existing ones to take another look.

just looking back at the corporate presentation, page 22 (Market Comparable).

Even if only 50% of the current asset ever makes it to measured and indicated status using the same valuation simplistically that would put URU at valuation of $117.250m.... or £83.2m (~13.86 x current value)....

That doesn't take into account the rather different basket contents (URU having more value), and the depth's and lengths of the strike zone. Economics of extraction at URU look favorable.

we need BRC to complete the DFS and recommend some real economics for the extraction.

The project is not far being able to complete this with some certainty now, the TSX listing is a nice move but not THE move.

In the grand scheme of things its just another corporate action. Not really a developmental action regarding the asset. Those are the things that count when looking towards a conclusion.

Fundamentals continue to grow positively, power is taken away from Zorb slightly, and commercial exposure increased, all in all a good action.

I am very excited to see how and what comes out of this new partnership, but i am under no illusion that any hope of a return or my money back still hangs on a very thing shoelace here.

mmmm there was alot of great discussion around CORA HUM interaction a few years ago and it all made complete sense, but at no point was the idea of horsing the ore over to HUM really a viable option, i suppose its a useful top-up function or grade improver to bridge gaps like we are currently in (keep AISC down and grades up for a bridging period)..... but as a main stream of extraction and value realization for the CORA asset its not going to cut the mustard as Yanfolilfa is already at capacity throughput.

Having said that then, a standalone plant for CORA to develop with a part hum, part royalty financier to get it into motion would be a nice low risk way of getting a piece of a NEW pie and fund further CORA development. Who knows maybe Pasafino if proved successful in the next 2 years could become a great ongoing development partner of HUM/CORA relationship.

Either way the future looks rosy for the multiple assets that HUM have their fingers into. Patience is as ever the key here.

I wouldn't be surprised if the MM's are trying to prepare themselves for another event like saw a few months ago. I bet they got caught with their pants down then and missed out on a lot of trading their own shares.

Either way, as Mje20 put it, the outlook this year is very positive, just need to be kept up to date with real operations as well as plans, plays and deals...
