Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties, discusses offtake milestones and catalysts to boost FY24. Watch the video here.
I hate to jump on a ramp train, but it feels like there is some general confidence in HUM right now.
My contribution is fed rate cut on the horizon should also help stimulate gold and our SP into the year or 2 ahead.
urgh i feel dirty for pumping.
Ballio
If page 17 is a genuine reflection of the efforts of the Corica mining fleet then its clear their performance has been terrible.
And they are due even at a pro-rata basis probably 10% of their fee if contracted on pay per tonne.
And it suggests that if the fleet can mobilise effectively that this Q2 will be a steady ramp up and that Q3&4 will be bumper processing times.
But this slide is my favourite. Very informative both negatively and positively. And one i think they should be producing for all active ore bodies as a progress snapshot for the period, especially because we have had mining issues.
Im feeling much happier about the near term though. All the NPV's are based on $2000 gold as well. 0.5b NPV Excl Dugbe, BUT if you price Kouroussa at current gold then Yan is excluded as well...
In my opinion there is hope here despite the really honestly terrible issues.
I'm still not sending Dan a christmas card though, he can get bent until he turns this around properly.

Ive just been reading the Feb presentation again for a bit of context and a zoom out on current issues.
There is no denying the shambolic events of this week, but still in the longer term this still has incredible untapped cashflow potential.
Its very easy to forget this is still in the grand scheme of things a new company in the mining sector. What it has done since buying yanfolila is pretty exceptional despite its terrible operational management.
Someone said on this board a few weeks ago "they don't need to be perfect, they just need to be OK in a high gold average AISC environment"... My expectations are eyes wide open but low. But this will still yield a good value play over the next few years once all operational mistakes are made and relationships mended and understood.
timeline and fundamental trust in the slow growth and maturity of a new miner are the biggest obstacles to success here as a shareholder. And appetite to swallow all the 5h!t that comes along the way...
Oh and Dan growing up and taking some responsibility for his actions....
ATB Ballio.
"we are focused on unlocking the full potential of this highly promising gold project and bringing it into full production"
This could be seen as good or bad....
Long long long term value if they pull it off is multi jurisdictional mining outfit with further risk spread. But to achieve this means year and years and years of further debt and likely more rounds of surprise finance and dilution along the way...
its a double edged sword.
Personally im ok with it, DB can build mines, he just cant run them... But with Gold heading in one direction he may well just be given the safety net he needs to make it happen...
But those looking for big numbers in SP in the next few years i think are mistaken. This will be a big capital investment company for years to come despite 2 future operational and productive and profitable mines...
I continue to hold and buy when sensible.
Ballio
@Jammin RE capability of mine development.
I'd say that is actually all Dan is good at... he can make mines, he just doesn't know what to do with them once complete.
I am optimistic this is a catalyst moment for the business. I know 33% dilution is never a win for anyone, but the upshot of the RNS for me is a path of significant ambition, not pessimism.
The cash will advance and enrich all sites in tandem adding Oz's to the bank and development of Dugbe....
I'd rather not have this by dilution, but im here for the big returns, not 6 months or even 12 months to be honest. This company is still a baby and despite the realllllly poor management of DB its hard to knock is ability to CREATE the mines.
Im accepting of this situation with an optimism for the future in terms of the possibly transformation action it could have.

There are lots of us here....
we are like the faded, cobwed covered furniture in a rotting castle...
not knowing if anyone will ever come to wake us or we are destined for a life of decay and uncertainty....
BUT, one day someone may move in and restore us to our former glory and shower us with new polish and gifts.
more than likely we will still be collecting dust in 2025..

NRR began to impress me at the start of Covid when i began lookin for real estate investments.
I have been a confident buyer ever since.
These types of RNS's are a nice reassuring bit of news in my view of the business.
Good work guys from 2019 to now.
Ballio.
DB needs to churn out AISC at current levels for a few Q's +/- 10% (nothing shocking) to prove he has full grip on the reigns at Yanfolila whilst the business steps into the same previously balls'ed up phase of ramping a mine up and learning its pit nuances etc.
If he can do that in the next 12 months then the sky's the limit... This allows for Dugbe to bubble and work its way through and possible get some minimal funding to continue to prove and sell or develop etc...
Its a good place to be right now, but all still very much dependant on continued operation success in order for value to reveal itself.

Ballio. (I shall continue to watch, wait and hold)
i have diverted my monthly buy to here.
Value and cash..
Ballio
but if you have one cake ready on a plate and one cake still in constituent parts you would expect there to be greater risks involved in getting into a position of putting the cake in your mouth right....
I think that's a fair assessment of reality, not a scathing or concerning statement..
Ballio
You summarise the fundamentals well Karv1.
I have been averaging into this for 12 months now and will continue for another 12...
Long term positions here from these levels WILL in my opinion do very well in both terms of cash returns and capital appreciation. Youngsters looking for a pension cornerstone, might do well to build a position here. I am a middling youngster you see )35(.... I want a monthly salary in dividends annually from this in 12 months time. Compound that bad boy till I'm 55 and we are off to the races.
Same applies at RIO too. And a few strong REIT's already offering just under 10% yields.
Look for the sales people, market mess and global disaster and stress present some great opportunities for the long term investor. And karv1, I think we went to the same school of investing. Underlying value and fundamental strength combined with the right macro economic outlooks make for easIER investment decisions.
Get a bigger wheelbarrow.
Ballio
Just more effort to erode any shred of credibility this company may have. Who can take it seriously.
66% spread to buy what is arguably one of the most poorly ran companies on the market.
no ones touching this.
And there is always a glimmer of underlying asset value here, but it has to be a fair punt for anyone to consider. Spread has always been shocking here, i mean for 5+ years...

Sentiment and True Value are not connected in this case in my view.
I am a buyer here, have been all the way down, will be whilst we are down here and will be most of the way back up...
I started price averaging about 7 months ago.... The corporate and political position of PSN over others is good, balance sheet is good, structure is good. Product is sadly not the best.... but the price is the price and home and shelter is what it is..
Speak to me in 5 years time where my 2022 investment will be my annual return.
