Based on past experience the surprise could equally be terrible and unwanted!!. Perhaps they will find a prehistoric monster at the bottom of the pit (still alive, son of godzilla)....although knowing my luck it will probably be infected with a virus that is deadly to mankind!!!!

Seems a bit extreme. Most people are familiar with Win/Mac, not sure if Linux is an easy move.

Listening to last nights 'Newscast' on the BBC which was discussing the Gamestop short squeeze with a fund manager (not a Hedge fund). Apparently the Hedge funds are closing their short positions (driving them higher) BUT also closing some of their long positions (driving them lower) presumably to pay for the losses in the shorts. So lots of volatility caused by the hedge funds getting panicked.
TRMR seems relatively unscathed.

An 'interesting' way of looking at things!

I don't believe the Japanese need the UK for car manufacturing like they did....because there is now an EU-Japan free trade agreement that includes cars.

But the news from Nissan regarding their Sunderland plant was welcome, albeit a bit of a surprise I must admit. I'm not sure I understand their logic entirely....but I don't know what has been promised them by government(s) behind closed doors.

I expect they like our University research and the green deal economy offered by the UK government.

Not sure I understand your logic Tricky. People would buy from non-EU countries IF what they want to buy is cheaper. But I expect VAT and import duties are due on most goods from non-EU countries (above a certain value perhaps)....unless there is a trade agreement of course!!

I expect the idea of UK freeports could be a way round such import taxes, although they could be a magnet for big business (such as Amazon) and create an unfair advantage.....anyone not in a freeport could struggle to compete, one cannot transfer the high street to a freeport!!

I have ABP but still get advertising windows on LSE...they seem to be embedded into the page. I cannot get rid of them!!!!....more alarming the adverts seem to know what I have been searching for on Amazon & Ebay.

On a Brexit note, the BBC is reporting people who order & received goods from the EU get an extra bill from Customs & Excise (VAT and/or import duty). Even a lady this morning who received a gift from an EU friend. A bit of a money spinner for the UK treasury (I did wonder how we were gonna pay for the pandemic!?)....and the beauty is that they haven't raised any taxes, the money magically appears from nowhere in UK government coffers and it doesn't cost anyone a penny. Brexit just gets better & better!! Why didn't we do this years ago?!

There is sometimes a fine line between madness & genius....sometimes Elon dances along that line. One has to admire his ability to 'make things happen'.

I always agree with things I want to hear...a good way to start the day.

Whisky optics are wonderful for analysing shares....I have been a millionaire many times over using such eyeware. But in the sober light of day things typically look a bit different & my calculations often have a misplaced decimal point.

It seems that TRMR have found a profitable niche in the market....question in the coming months is whether they can consolidate their market share OR will the big fish start to pay attention to this lucrative business & provide more competition.

What a strange idea. Surely he/she is just someone who a grudge against Blinkx (RTHTTHMMMNTHMNOne). Not sure how that automatically makes them an ex-employee....or do we need to call the FBI and warn them that Stt may have a US gun license!!!!
Over the years they have 'probably' made a bundle shorting R1....but now they just don't want to let go.

When TRMR started to 'show us the money' then the focus would switch from past performance to 'potential'. That seems to have happened (or be happening). Some people may prefer to be stuck in the past, thinking about past battles. But that isn't helpful as an investor IF the modern way of fighting a battle has changed. Ultimately TRMR's success will depend on their ability to supply reliable quantities of jam, in increasing amounts. Things are looking good...but as an R1 investor I have learned - the hard way - not to get too excited!!

The 'board of directors' well to support further rise.....well they would be trying to support a further rise in the SP, it's their job.

Trying to follow the conversation over the weekend on a possible NASDAQ listing. Could there not be a dual listing, FTSE and in America? The 'best ' of both worlds.

Getting off AIM would be a priority IMO. Not sure why an Israeli company that generates 'most' of revenue in USA & operating in technology field is on AIM. An alligator in a duck pond!!

Any guesstimates on the size of the dividend we can expect?

I'm thinking 5 to 7 pence. Not a lot % wise - more a token gesture - but with potential for more in the future. XD circa April.
