I'm thinking the film studios may have a part to play in CINE for they need somewhere to show their content. They could kill the cinema business model in a second by going straight to streaming but I suspect they will support the industry somehow....at least until they can see which way the dice is going to fall.

Seems like a perfect storm of events...all linked to the pandemic.

Big question is does CINE have a future and what form will that take?
I'm thinking some form of private equity 'investment'/takeover. I'm sure they will be crunching the numbers, looking into their crystal balls & generally working out what is best for them.
The court case certainly doesn't help. I would suggest they come to an agreement with the plaintiff.....better an equity stake & seat on the board than an empty moral victory.

SP seems reluctant to get to 290. Has it peaked?
Whenever I think it has peaked it powers higher. Great to see.

Curlekev, agree with you that the short term SP fall is overdone.....I see that the SP is rising now. Fingers crossed for a significant bounce back.

curleykev, I think you give STT more credit than he deserves. Hard to see how one individual is to blame for the collapse in TRMR's share price......unless they were Warren Buffett!!

I had hoped we were beyond jam tomorrow statements of the past. Almost deja vue mention of World cup boost.
Big questions about the employee remuneration and the amount of money spent on the Amobee deal to what may have been a forced seller!...I wonder if they got negotiating advice from Elon?
Hopefully things will work out OK but hard to see a recovery short term.

Casapinos, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Technically you may be wrong but in reality you may have a point....and you argue your point well. I appreciate such discussion because it is a cut above the norm.
It would be really good to see LGEN less regulated but equally we all know the danger of cutting red tape to much. The management seem to be doing a good job and are well respected.....if the regulators allow them to do their job better & easier then that should benefit shareholders.

Looks like there weren't many surprises and the SP is following market trend(s). However it could be that analsysts are still crunching the numbers as they have their morning dose of caffeine.

I expect any forward looking statement(s) will be more important to the market.

Economic forecasts I imagine are very difficult to make accurate....ask 10 economists and you will probably get 10 quite widely different answers. The problem is us humans are driven by sentiment & impulses, so to some extent economics is also psychology.
Probably more important than an individual forecast is the trend....if 10 different economist models agree on a direction of travel - rather than the actual final destination - then that is likely to be better than picking one individual forecast out of many.

SD235, so if the SP stays in the range 50p to sub £3 you will have been proven wrong.....you aren't a member of the monetary policy committee are you?

But can it push on towards 300p?
Personally I have absolutely no idea how LGEN will do in a high inflation, higher interest rate, recessionary environment (possibly short term all 3). Comments appreciated.

Ones average purchase price is a useful bit of information that wouldn't break any rule(s).

I remember there was a bloke on a Lloyds forum that divulged his holding (100,000's of shares) and his average.....it was a brave/foolish thing to do but he seemed 'happy' to tell people. Even Trump lies about his wealth!!
Personally I'm into LGEN for a couple of mill!!!...fantasy portfolio.

$25m full year profit plus the $40m loan would give them $65m to invest in leveraging the business up to the next level. If the price of gold remains high then Altyngold is going to be seriously undervalued & analysts will start to take them seriously.

Tricky, I don't think anyone is 'mocking' Tremor. The podcast that mentioned 'laughable' ad-tec was talking about Amobee, which appears to be a bit of a mess - similar the way R1 was - with lots of subsidiaries that need focus & rationalising. Ofer Druker has experience sorting out R1, so he just has to work his magic on Amobee.
The podcast suggested the Amobee was better suited within TRMR than under previous owner, so there was a qualified positive atitude to the deal but the contributors did suggest it could take a lot of effort to merge the two businesses.
