what was all the fuss about?
Just want Truss to expand gas exploration in the North sea...and give all the projects to Wood group.....and give all shareholders a knighthood!!

It has to be private equity or Next/ASOS/Ashley buy them for the brand name alone....unless there are some massive undisclosed ilabilities. If the current management/owner are being sentimentall then they need to get real.
The risk/reward equation must be attractive at these levels

The Next deal sounded quite good for Joules (IMO), money to stabilise the business and access to a major website to sell merchandise. There must have been strings attached or a personality clash.
£11m market cap sounds too cheap....pin money for some people.

At the time I thought the Next investment was being very altruistic.....perhaps they are playing tough and want the company for a pittance....or maybe they have really walked away.

I thought Next had taken a stake a few weeks back and allowed them to sell their merch on the Next website. What has gone wrong?!

Any guess when the report will be available?
Hopefully it will contain lots of positive information. Management need to show that they have a plan and that they are implementing it. Current SP suggests nobody knows what they are doing.

Bought a few last week. After reading 'the report' I realised there was more going on than an undervalued company...which the company is addressing. Too much for my little brain to process. So I sold up today. Only a little punt anyway, therefore only a small loss.
Wont be posting here again. Best of luck to investors. There are some interesting companies in the portfolio. Hopefully the winners exceed the losers by a large margin. But not for me.

Of course there is a difference.....blue collar crime, versus white collar crime.
Bank robbery is 'usually' for a pittance, insider trading (financial crime) is much more lucrative and much harder to get a conviction ...they usually have better lawyers.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know. The report didn't say. I assume there must be some sort of lock-in period when they cannot sell...if not the 'logic' used by the adviser would make even less sense.

So if I rob a bank it's only a crime if I get caught?!.....good to know.
The previous inhabitant at No. 10 had the same philosophy....he did quite well until he was caught out.

Wouldn't investing on a leak be insider trading?
An alternative may be that fund analysts have done some research and think John Wood could gain business IF the UK government starts allowing investment in the North sea again.
But insider trading ahead of significant news is just as likely!!!

They are hoping to come to agreement on performance fees....Turkeys voting for Christmas springs to mind!!

Usually governance issues - which CHRY advisers should have know about - are a red flag.

Currently REVB is suspended on AIM at 19p awaiting the audited accounts. So if the initial IPO was at 160p, a large chunk of that inital £45m has currently been lost....unless they have managed to divest along the way.

But what do is the probability (as estimated by the advisors) that some or all of these things will happen?
Some things are under the control of Klarna's management, others are market forces. Hard to see 'loan impairments' at historic levels if there is a recession, so that perhaps seems optimistic (IMO). looks to me like the CHRY team will have to decide whether to invest more in supporting Klarna over the coming months....or perhaps they have enough funding already.

That would be interesting.....we would then know for certain whether those valuations incorporated in the NAV are accurate.
As long as they aren't under pressure to sell then they should continue to invest according to their convictions. Unless they are investing in 'pigs in a poke' they should be OK when sentiment changes....as long as their research & due diligence is robust.

It looks like Ofer and a few TRMR employees have been excessively making hay while the sun shines.....but the sun has gone in, leaving shareholders in the dark somewhat. Growth stocks are out of favour and a stock with low(ish) growth is doubly damned.
Hopefully Ofer can work his magic and earn his remuneration by making TRMR shine again.
Perhaps throw a few crumbs to shareholders if there is any left after Ofer et al have taken their slice of the pie?!

It would be interesting to imagine what the world would be like without the current Covid vaccines.....I expect they would be moaning about something else!!

Liz Truss seems to be backing North sea gas and fracking in an interview on Sunday (Kuenssberg on BBC). So the green light for gas exploration & investment seems likely under Liz.

But seriously, I have read that 'some' of the excess deaths may be attributable to Covid long term complications.....that is, one is more likely to have a heart attack, blood clot or other long term complication as a result of having had Covid.....combined with over-stretched health systems it sort of makes sense. People may be having additional life threatening complications due to exposure to a new virus and the health systems aren't able to react to that increase.
There is also the backlog of treatment and people putting off going to see a doctor (leading to more severe illness).
Obviously scientifically adverse reactions to vaccines has to be included in any research. But as always in any conspiracy theory the true answer is usually less 'interesting'!!
