Wrong again Frank. I have no animosity to any 'users' who are invested. I only ask that people search for the truth and stop spreading fantasy valuations and incorrect & misleading information. Even Amanda doesn't bother me...I know she is a day trader & has a agenda...if she was honest about that agenda then that would be OK (but she ain't). We are all here to make a profit after all.
Third time lucky & you failed again. I have never shorted any stock.

Frank, you are wrong. As stated before I kept a residual holding...for 'laughs & giggles'. Although admittedly downsized even further today....I am probably down to just 'giggles' now.

Your excellent post on the EU regulatory process was very informative. How do you know so much?

This is not necessarily the case, since EU has gone from MDD to MDR the burden of proof on the company has increased significantly. Secondary to that and what we are already seeing here is that the FDA adapt a very collaborative approach. They guide you and tell you up front what they expect to see on your application. This is not the case with EU -if this is going through BSI which I suspect it may be they will not consult with you pre your submission - so in other words they will not tell you they need a 6 month study until they review the application and they won't review it for months given the current backlogs/ timings. To make it worse they can also be bureaucratic in that they may ask a second question 6 months later - rather than have their questions in one go. In short we could see FDA approval first. "

So the next big questions is...How much money will FUM have to raise?

I'm guessing £2-3 million. A pure guess but we have to start somewhere.

That's £1-2 million for the MED3000 trial and an additional £1 million to top up FUM's dwindling cash reserves (management pay & pension, plus office expenses).

A rights issue seemed likely in h1 2021 anyway...so the current RNS just makes it more urgent (& makes it bigger in cash terms).

Thoughts welcomed. I am open to counter 'offers'.

Unlikely....IMO they will need a rights issue or similar fundraising before they proceed with the new trial. They may delay the trial and just proceed with the EU approval I suppose. All discussed before....Baldy was was ignored!! Not a good investment strategy...only listen to people whispering sweet nothings in your ear (about £10 per share valuations) and ignore those highlighting potential risks or important decision points.

Baldy swoops down and strikes again. Where is the cash going to come from for a 6 month - 'limited' trial required by the FDA.

Meeting was in July (earlier than expected)...so Baldy strikes again.

I seem to remember from somewhere - perhaps Ken James joking on 1st April - that the are investigating how MED3000 (former placebo) actually works. It would be useful to know because it could mean additional IP and perhaps lead to an enhanced product. I wonder if they have employed the world renowned expert Professor Davis Ralph...a person who has worked for FUM on a number of projects (most notably the preliminary trial for MED2002/2005) & is also currently on none of their advisory boards. Of course he has never been paid for such 'work' - does it all gratis 'apparently' - so we cannot say he 'works for' FUM....he 'volunteers' for FUM.

PS I don't want to upset the day trading ladies with my comments!!!!

I don't believe they have ever had a mining update in July or August. The interim results are in early september. Not that far away.

So Amanda was 'previously called Hawkhead until banned'...that's interesting to know!

GLA_D, you need to review your information and get your facts right. I have not been here on a daily basis. I volunteered to self-exclude myself from this echo chamber. I did briefly return but was grievously insulted...I asked for an apology..when none was given ( a missed opportunity by my detractors) it was tacitly agreed by all concerned that you would be entitled to the full on 100% bald_Eagle no holds barred experiential treatment...I have endeavoured to keep my end of the agreement. So help me god. It's not too late to apologise btw...if Amanda wants to eat a piece of humble pie.

As like most companies, when the news is good there are lots of RNS's but when in difficult times they keep information to the legal minimum. Regular updates would mean Altyn are happy with the progress and want to tell the market. It's like having a good looking new girlfriend/boyfriend, you want to show them off (even better when you've got one of each!!)

Errrr! The SP has done quite well recently. Not sure that Altyn is particularly linked to the price of gold, it could continue to rise but if ALtn don't produce much gold then it's no benefit to investors . Production figures are where the money is...if they can get that up then the market will take notice.

BiB, anyone who has a 'life changing' amount invested in FUM deserves my respect....they must have nerves of steel. I just hope they know what they are doing....hopefully I haven't upset them too much with my take on FUM. They can always just listen to Amanda whispering sweet nothings in the ear.

Don't forget that cash is due to run out h1 2021 unless they are given some more. Another rights issue is a distinct possibility IMO...which usually has a negative impact on the SP (unless FUM really can deliver on their promises....there is always a first time).

BiB, thanks for yoyr concern. The fall from over 22p to currently 16/17 isn't overly concerning for me, thanks! Because I sold some shares at 21p...cheers.

SHares go up...shares go down. If you cannot stand the heat then depart the kitchen area, that's my advice. To worry about a few % points up or down is a mugs game....unless you're into CFD's of course.

I'm not sure if a Q2 update is coming. Don't they just report the Q2 results in the interim results in Spetember?

Hopefully belief in 'gold at the end of the rainbow' & fairies isn't a prerequisite for being a FUM shareholder!! Perhaps you have to be adbucted by aliens to be a 'true' believer.
