BruceJ, I suspect 'going forward' is an Americanism. Doesn't bother me in the slightest....I know what it means. Just means 'From here on'. Many ways to skin a cat....as long as most people understand the gist of what is being said...that supercedes any pedantic 'perfick english' sentiment IMO.

Joker, the problem is that you're beginning to lose what credibilty you had (not much I suspect). When you 'jokingly' support a vaulation of 450p per share & £ billion valuation you make yourself into a fool. I know...a 'joker' is a fool....but you don't have to act the part. At least 108p was slightly realistic...but you've now shown yourself for what you are....not a pretty sight.

Frank, I did think you were a thoughtful & intelligent person. People who end with 'simple as that' usually aren't I have found. The problem is that the management of Futura Med are slightly biased in terms of claims...they obviously want the data to show that MED3000 is wonderful. Potential partners - and their 'experts' - may think otherwise. Good luck anyway.

Just reviewing some of the absurd, crazy, fantasy valuations that some on here have put forward:

- BlueChipBroker (aka the 'Joker') illogical target of 108p, valuing FUM at a measly £265.3m.

Not actually that 'crazy' a target...the mad bit was the timescale for hitting the target. He said it would 'be around' 108p back on 1st April 2020 (April Fools anyone)....what a Joker!!

Then we have the really wacky, off the scale nuttsville of ananda:
- First target valuation was £4.50...Yes, 450p per share. Giving FUM a valuation of a mere £1.1 BILLION. Absurd.
- He even had the bolls to follow this with his recent target of £10...Yes, 1000p per share. Giving FUM a wacky backie valuation of £2.45 BILLION.

Make your own mind up whether those valuations are reasonable (especially those of the 'expert' ananda).

Shame that they knew about it in 2016 and didn't investigate a little deeper. A missed opportunity IMO. Instead they doubled down on the GTN dosage and we are where we are. 4 years and a lot of money down the swannie.

Hopefully potential partners, regulators and the patent office believe the data on MED3000....that's all we can hope. Although FUM do seem to play word games with their patent claims. Any potential partner will see right through it...so they are wasting their time in that respect. Although it does manage to fool some people....and newbies of course who take things at face value. Cannot blame newbies but Liberum & ananda are another matter.

Obviously doesn't know what the word 'comparable' actually means!! Ho hum.

BTW this 'conversation' has nothing to do with me. It is a friendly argument between Bucolic and theItalian. I hold no opinion on the matter...other than to help to get to the truth. ananda seems to love spreading untruths.

I haven't had the time to view the April 1st Webcast (Full Year results) available on the FUM website....that contains a presentation by Ken James on the FM57 results. Presumably Ken James can be trusted to tell us the truth....whether he did or not I don't as yet know.

theItalian, didn't Ken James do a presentation on that very subject (was it April 1st Webinar thingy). I seem to remember that MED3000 was slightly inferior in some respects but not dramatically & in all scenarios.

Bucolic, to some extent both yourself & theItalian are correct (how is that possible I hear you gasp?). MED3000 may well be inferior to the GTN products but the benefits of having no active ingredient outweigh the 'slight' loss in performance. I believe that's the thinking of FUM's management.
Why they didn't spot that MED3000 was a 'wonder' product 4 years ago and save wasting £ millions on unecessary reports & trials...that's another question. FUM have a history of missing the bleeding obvious (CSD500 2 year shelf life another example). Water under bridge suppose!!....but poor management.

All FUM's 'clever' wordplay over patents that confuses investors and 'experts' like Liberum is likely to come back to bite them in the posterior. Any potential partner will have patent lawyers who will see through such 'gameplay' and could make FUM manangement look tricksy & not to be trusted. The one thing you need in a successful negotiation is trust and clever tricks don't fool anyone.... although ananda & Liberum are more gullible than most.

More dodgy information from his 'expert' source, no doubt (Liberum). It just aint true. Clever word play by FUM that presumably Liberum have accepted without questioning. The Fact is that MED3000 doesn't have a patent...it's pending. The patents FUM do have are for the GTN products (MED2002/2005) and I don't know if they are anything to do with MED3000. Those patents are probably worthless. The new MED3000 patent is what's important....and it is patent pending. The unvarnished truth. Sorry about that.

PS Has anyone mentioned that Professor Ralph has worked for FUM (indeed he's currently on one their advisory boards). He has also declared a 'conflict of interest' about FUM in a scientific paper he co-authored on MED2005. It's a small world.

Frank, all valid points. I would hope that FUM are investigating how MED3000 actually works...such knowledge may allow them to enhance the effectiveness of MED3000 (or MED3001). It may also give any potential partner that they are investing in something with scientific rigour (and not the 'pig in a poke' how ananda described it).

Isn't Kentucky fried chicken coating a secret "mixture of herbs & spices". No one ingredient is presumably that unique but the ratio & nature of those ingredients creates something special & 'valuable'. Using modern mass spectometer (or other modern tech) it is probably fairly easy to deconstruct a compound, change it slightly and create your own version. Assuming it is worth the effort....I expect Pfizer have the resources!!

Joker, I have never said not to invest in FUM. Just that it is best if investors know the truth and not just fantasy spouted by people with a vested interest.
To ride this pony all the way to the finishing line would be a VERY brave thing to do. Better to bank some profit along the way (if it is possible). Some people like to bet everything on Red (or Black). They seldom walk out of the casino with money in their pockets.
Lots of SP enhancing opportunities in the coming months and lots of value destroying risks as well. Best to be aware that the latter do exist rather than listen (& believe) that this share is headed on a smooth road to £4.50 or even £10. Fantasy island IMO.
Rights issue h1 2021 could be a drag.

NDR50, I'm not sure if the compounds in the Dermasys (MED3000) formulation are 'novel' as such. MED3000 (as far as I'm aware) is the base 'formulation' of Dermasys (or a variant thereof). Usually the Dermasys base formulation is used to transport the active compound through the skin....but in MED3000's case there is no active compund. The exact mechanism for how MED3000 works hasn't been explained to us and I don't know if it is part of the patent application, possibky not. If the patent application is the same as MED2005 then the patent is for the 'formulation...a 'mixture of herbs & spices'. I don't know the level of protection that sort of patent provides...which could affect the value of the associated IP. I would expect a 'formulation' isn't the same as patenting a widget or 'novel' compound designed to do a specific task.

Bucolic, it's a painful and expensive lesson to learn (but thankfully you have learned it and may be able to avoid such pifalls 'most' of the time). I wish you the best of luck with your investment in FUM (I really do). But I cannot stand the lies and fantasy valuations offered by some here.

PS ananda is 100% self-interest, all he says is designed to maximise gain for himself. He is very cynical IMO.

MED3000 didn't pass P3 trials....MED3000 wasn't the focuss of the FM57 trial (it didn't even exist as a product at the time)...it was the placebo. Misleading statements by your so called 'experts'.

Not sure who your 'experts' are but they are wrong. You really need to get some new 'experts'.

Bucolic, thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately there are quite a few investors who in a hole with FUM and are 'hoping' that they pull a rabbit out of a hat and make us money. Doesn't mean that investors (new & old) don't need to know the truth about what they are invested in. Knowing risks may help us avoid any shock events. I would suggest a rights issue is a big danger h1 2021. Take profits where you can and 'hopefully' get in a position when only a small amount of 'real' cash is at risk.
Do what I suspect ananda is doing...selling on the surges & hype (he tries to generate). Then buy back when the SP weakens (when unsurprisingly he/she goes very quiet).
PS I'm not saying that he/she personally moves the SP, just that he/she times his ramping to try match the natural waves in investor sentiment. That's my theory!!
