I think they will make more decisions on the 28th June regards travel testing etc. All depends how many new variants are knocking about in the next few weeks. The new variant in Vietnam that's a cross between the Indian and UK variants looks a bit nasty.
Just seems inevitable that it will show here at some point.

playing with fire if they do stop pcr right now imo. Public moaning about the cost of tests, what about airlines that jack up prices of flights to double and more to Portugal and other places. That's ok then I suppose? No doubt TUI and the other travel/holiday operators have upped their holiday prices to account for the subsidised pcr tests they offer. Ygen need to win one or two of the framework contracts asap to offset any downturn in travel test income.

vaccine passport, not pcr testing is it?? Look, we all know sooner or probably later that Covid will be manageable. By then hopefully MHC will have some or all of their new products to market. Covid is a financial boost, even if it's shorter term. The long term value will come with new product sales. Hopefully the good and growing relationship with Boots could see their new products on Boot's shelves in the near future.

yes. it's these asymptomatic people that are a big problem. Moving around not knowing they have the virus passing it on to everyone they meet. As for saying that asymptomatic don't have the disease well, you couldn't make it up!

Frankie, Ygen reckon that they can cope with 10k tests a day, +MHC labs, so capacity shouldn't be a problem from them. However Ygen do have other customers but I doubt they are at that number yet.
