I wouldn't take too much notice of that Ygen article. It's just computer generated rubbish. However Ygen are doing well with their own products too and of course now entwined with NCYT. I am hoping the sp can get to a £1 or more and the ceo certainly expects a mcap above £500m. Who knows now they are with Ncyt they might get a turbo charge to their sp, hopefully.

well, I would be looking at least 15/20k . I would expect it to ramp up over the next 18 months or so to Nov 2021 when renewals come up.I think it's November? So less than 1k per month until then. If they can't do that then they all need to find new jobs!!

cheers flipper. So Roche tests are somewhat shackled as can only be used on their own equipment as opposed to NCYT that can go on most anybody's equipment. This would then be better for sales for NCYT as it's got a wider reach so to speak?

it's not just how many tlds it's how much. Anyone can give them away! Let's stack the income from the 28 core tlds against ICM....sorry, but core simply isn't anywhere near good enough for me! Maybe my expectations are higher than most, but I expect SJL would agree that they should be doing much better with the 28.

it was also Toby Hall's handling or should I say total mishandling of the year long review that helped tank the sp. We were at 8p two months ago, whoopy dooo! He bought ICM as a backstop/panic offering because in the end he could not sell this after a whole year of utter incompetence rgds the review imo!
Toby Hall is just taking instruction from higher ups, has no influence ( as KT expalined) so can't take credit can he?
As I said, take away ICM contribution and core sales growth is pretty crap.The only core thing going up are director wages and expenses.

$12m costs, says it all really. GRAVY TRAIN or what!? All these other appts, why? What does Toby Hall do now as he seems to have surrounded himself with many Indians to do the work. If you take away ICM then this company ain't up to much is it when you look at the growth (lack ) of core dums? They just don't sell enough, so Toby for me, you ain't doing as good a job as you reckon you are.

Does anyone know whose test/kits are being used by the NHS. I know NCYT and Roche are the only two that have WHO approval, though NCYT has 100% accuracy and Roche only 91% I think. I believe Thermo/Qiagen also have a test but not sure if it's being used or not. I would imagine that if TF/Qiagen tests are being used then as Ygen lab is close/next to Qiagen lab then that is where some of our work is coming from. Can someone correct me if I am wide of the mark on that.

I would think there is plenty of work to go around. It won't need too much to fill up Ygen capacity will it.Not sure how big their labs/facility is though in Citylabs?

not too sure what people are expecting tbh. For me I would think that they are maybe just a little shy of their £17m forecast for y/e, which is to be expected although LR did say core business has been 'very resilient' all things considered.
Not sure about what is happening going forward though. Can we still expect core business to be resilient, somehow doubt it myself. However, the silver lining is hovering well and truly over Ygen with the NCYT/NHS agreements. Will it take up a lot of the slack? who knows. But it will certainly keep the wolf from the door I expect.
So in summary for me, decent y/e figures considering, core business impacted going forward but Covid to take up the slack until world is back on it's feet. Of course in meantime CE approval so Ygen can dominate the Nipt world, lol.

yes SB, it's a very poor show from Hall/Salazar especially. I know many investors who look at directors buying as a big sign to invest or not, so it does make a difference. Hall even fobbed off SJL with some crap when he asked the question some time ago. I would not be surprised if just about everyone on this BB and elsewhere has invested more than Toby Hall has in this company (500k shares). That is just a joke for me!
I always wonder if he really feels like he is in charge because he is only the frontman and follows instructions from the big shareholders. Maybe that narks him hence the dismal shareholding. Maybe he is happy just to take the fat salary and have his nose in the options trough. Has he taken us as far as he can? Hopefully he has cleared the decks to facilitate a sale very soon?
As mentioned, why will anyone else buy when our directors show NO confidence in the company, even at these low low levels. All just my opinion only.

just look at the pathetic amount of trades in this stock, pitiful! Nobody gives a flying F about tlds, and with radio silence it seems like the management couldn't either. Wax lyrical about what a great job they have done turning this around blah blah, yet can't buy a single feckin share between them. Hardly inspires anyone else to does it? Sell this company asap!

I believe they are not set up for the antibody test, only the antigen that NCYT supply. It is a totally different discipline to do the antibody test and Ygen are not set up for it according to the webinar recently.

nothing new! just reiterates they are only doing the components and not the full kit. Don't know why they have mentioned the antibody test as neither NCYT or Ygen do that test, as far as we know. It would not surprise me that they can't do the full test as they are already snowed under with what they are doing.
