RE: How much longer12 Apr 2022 17:49
Cheers for the reply.
My figures , I realise are based on an article which valued them at $3.2 bil….last year….but with $505 mil in bookings for the the fiscal year end of June 22, although that figure may not accurately reflect the figure of in year revenues. Hence the calculation of 6 x revs, not on what has been raised. My error, I stand corrected.
By your figures, it works out at 24x revs which is exactly where DEV been for best part of a year…..without an upward trajectory over that period.
I don’t think there is much i’ve not read about Dev, and as I said in a previous post the signs / snippets I read are promising….but we don’t really know anything or have anything concrete to work with, although you have explained why, which I get.
I saw the HoC news and the subsequent bill that was passed with regard to all secondary schools in the UK, and discussed it with a senior member of our academy trust, who didn’t know about it. Very promising for Dev indeed…but it’s promise and speculation. I’d like to know where we are, as most shareholders do….but DEV does have form with a previous persistently delayed prospectus etc……..I’ve done very well out of Dev first buying at 2p in Feb 2010 and averaging 7.1p with a top price of 33p paid…..so I’m happy to wait and see. Cautiously optimistic as always…..especially when £1 plus was banded around widely last year, only to end delisted at 30p.
It’s good to share a view and read another’s. Fingers crossed we get some news soon, that starts a positive shift up….I’m just genuinely over the moon that the RNS on the 24th didn’t say “The prospectus is at an early stage of development,” for obvious reasons! gl all :-)
