After re-reading the RNS from July 19th…

“Additionally, the Company has paid to Veative an initial US$1,150,000 to exercise its call option over the remaining Indian IP and will pay a further US$5,350,000 to be settled in shares of the Company at the average market price over five days from Re-admission, subject, inter alia, to Re-admission taking place by the end of January 2023.”

….I feel it implies that the relisting is potentially way off! One helluva year in Dev…that’s for sure.

I was being facetious! Let’s not get carried away, and focus on getting relisted first…..and then we’ll see what the SP does!

Head certainly not in the sand, just managing and readjusting expectations and timeframes. I’ve still not seen anything that has changed my short / medium term view. In Feb I’ll have been invested for three years….and I’d say that was a fair amount of time. The Apple article was interesting but made no mention of EdTech. The idea of LMC keeping below the radar is crazy….Byju will know exactly what is going on. A takeover is interesting….let’s hope it wouldn’t involve another prospectus hey!

….someone is on a charm offensive! It all sounds very promising doesn’t it? Lots of conjecture and hypothesising included though. How many years away before this hits the bottom line? I won’t state my thoughts as we don’t want the mood dampened. As per my previous statements, the loooong term is looking promising. There is negative and realistic…..those with head in sand tend to confuse the two!

Two things on this.

1) Why on earth would anyone believe anything this chap says. Don’t think he’s been accurate on anything Dev related in the last few years!!
2) If it is true, why does he get an audience with Mr Jefferies, when many PIs can’t even get a reply from the company, in any capacity!

Wrong on all levels.

So potentially we’re looking at another 5 years according to this, when the last research note said £128 mil revs by end 2024.
I’ll be interested to see where we are with revs end of this year and then see how far off the research note we are….mind u, we cud be waiting until this time next year to find that out! Nobody doubts the future of Edtech is extremely positive…..what we’re talking about is Dev as a short, medium and long term investment. The first two not looking great at the moment….long term me might be okay. Although, I think there will be much fundraising and further dilution to come. Genuinely think based on current dilution, current revs and current markets, Dev will be between 8 and 15p….within weeks of relisting, possibly less. Watch this space!

You’ll be lucky….and if they did release a timeframe it couldn’t be believed anyway! What’s the latest bit of guff now? Mid August!?! Just have to wait until the day it arrives, whenever that may be. I see LMC is now up to 313 employees on LinkedIn…..hopefully the increase in the number of employees isn’t outpacing the signups. On average they should have signed up another 125, at least by now.

We’ll probably find out the 2022 3/4th quarter summary sometime in 2024.

Waiting….but patience has worn very very thin. Be great to be thanked again by the company for patience and support, when the RNS inevitably drops some time in the distant future. Bugs me when they say that….like we have a choice, especially when shares are suspended!

Great to hear. I think the excitement started about 18 months ago though and disappeared in a puff of smoke. Don’t forget £20mil was the expected / suggested revenue for YE22 and it‘ll be lucky to match YE21 the way things are going. Still we’ll see if the spin from the company pays off…unfortunately think there will be many PIs who will look to get out, especially if the SP gives a hint of dropping, which it will. Reduced revs for 2022 (possibly) dilution of around 25%, as I can’t see Veative adding £50odd mil to the value of the company, best part of 600 salaries to cover with minimal uplift in revs, only 3500 subscribers this year so far. As I said before short term pain in the hope of long term gain. I’ll be taking out a BIG chuck out on day 1 of relisting unless some of the spin pays off with some earth shattering news, although I don’t see that happening before the prospectus is out! Off on my jollies tomorrow….a toned down version as access to funds has been limited this year! Fingers crossed for some Shane Warne calibre spin that hits the mark. GL all

…..is that this will drop significantly on relisting, unless some major news is forthcoming, no matter how much spin is put on the current situation. Long term hold with a view to a 2-3 year play from here…..with a big drop before an increase. Be interesting to see what happens with Lenovo in the next 12 months as their partnership must be up for review soon, although it doesn’t seem to have delivered material revs to Dev over the last few years. Good to see lots of people so optimistic…..shares usually flatter to deceive though….so I’ll stick to short term pessimism and an hopeful mid term outlook, but anyone expecting anything other than pain on relisting, in my view, needs their head examining!

Cheers for the post. I agree, the potential is staggering….but in the long term not in the next 12-18 months, and that’ll put me on 4 years towards the latter. Investing with a 3-5 year plan. As I said, huge short term whack to ‘hopefully’ get a good long term return. I think there are over 300 employees on Launchmycareer, over 200 in Veative and maybe another 40 in Dev. Knocking on the door of 600 employees with revenues of maybe 38% increase by year end. Veative Labs contributing maybe £4mil. The revenues are not increasing as quick as the salary costs this year, I bet you that much….but Dev does have potential…..but potential just won’t cut it in the current markets. 2 years ago yet…Dev fit the narrative with Covid etc. I’m not so convinced now. This will tank and tank quickly. Chris Akers, a big Dev investor and promotor….has nothing to say after today’s first real news in 8 months. Again, I think that speaks volumes. I want Dev to do well, but today was a total reality check for me….and many others. This will go down significantly before it gets anywhere near to making an real term gains….I’d be happy to be wrong, but watch and we’ll see.

I’m sorry but this is nothing short of a short term disaster for what they hope to be a long term gain….but it will be a very long term gain at this rate. This was going down anyway on relisting, without this Aldebaron news! This is going to tank on an almost unprecedented scale on relisting. The previous research note is now totally out of the window and £20mil this YE, £51mil YE23, £128mil YE25 and £215mil YE26 is nothing short of a joke! Jefferies realises this, hence his actions to forgo his options to reduce dilution!
The 38mil shares to Aldebaron…WTF!!
Only 3500 subscribers this year…..chuckling…in disbelief! This has put us back 2 years! This will be below 10p and I think as low as 5p or lower within days of relisting. I know people think I’m glass half empty….but now they’re saying results in August! After being, at one point, nearly 700% up….I genuinely think I will be making a loss within days of relisting. Big mistake from me and one to learn by. Due diligence was clearly not done on Aldebaron, which makes me question everything they’re doing! A sad day for Dev holders in the short and medium term as this is going nowhere but down….and as for RJ….Mr Soonicorn over £1 by end of 2021….I think enough said. Await Twitter tirade!! Very very disappointed over the short and medium term as most of the RNS is purely spin and poor spin at that! 3500 subscribers….wow….2030 is where the money will possibly be made, but how much more dilution before then! Now it’s about getting as much out before it plummets to March 2020 levels! This is now a looooong play…and in these markets there will be a lot of disappointed DEV investors!
