I don't think they know as GM won't speak to them. They must have seriously upset someome for them to just bust them out of the blue and take a £14m loss.

Interesting Billy. But they had got to the stacking stage (ie close to bringing that furnace online) before the rug was pulled from under them and GM people on site seemed content before they left? Appreciate it will be conjecture but why do you think GM did this? Change of leadership team and a desire to just move on to a reliable partner like Brembo?

Missed that. How much do you think is needed? How would it be secured? How. Would it be serviced? There is already more than £25m of debt. So the bridging finance would sit on top of that? Say for the sake of arguement they could "just" obtain some bridging finance to emerge as a £4m turnover company and imagine they could become profitable how would they manage that balance sheet. Sadly the business may survive but the company won't IMHO.

It would be tough enough to litigate against GM in any event but with no money and massive ongoing losses Im really sad to say it's not possible.

I imagine getting beaten up in this raise process will be a bit of a wake up call for management and they won't make this mistake again. Incredibly cheap now and plenty of good news to look forward to over the next 6 months

The 30 September Cavendish note forecast £0.14m of cash at 31 Dec. So in short, they likley ran out of cash and were held over a barrel in the placing.
