Agreed Samval if the money was going into a red hot deal burning a hole in freddos desk but when I hear ' an opportunity presented itself to dispose ' etc at a share price only 2% higher than our last investment in Avextra I start to wonder , people knocking on our door and we sell at cost price ? Makes me wonder was the risk/reward of our last investment into avextra really fir a 2% return?

My concern is that the recent strength in sp has been in anticipation of this buyback, I'm not sure anyone really thought it was a good time to exit one of our strongest assets at a fairly medicare 60% return over a few years when this was one of our winners but if they makes me a basher in dags view..I'll live 🤣

There's supposed to be shed loads of really credible investment ops sitting on Alfredo desk but he's using the money to appease short tern traders ..taking a short cut which I think displays a lack of confidence I their ability to choose winners . We sold Avectra at the start of a possible bull run on cannabis stocks to give money to short term traders..let's face it our wins have been nothing close to covering our major losses and long term the sp will drop bavk I've no doubt

The terms of the buyback proposal state that any shares bought back can at a later date be sold to anyone the board chooses at any terms they decide . Is this normal ? That sounds bit worrying to me

Ah OK thanks for that, I forgot about their paywall. What, if any, impact do you think this has on Destiny ? Have they been to slow ?.That said I can't see the new CEO and Chair being blindsided by this, but Destiny not been run particularly well over recent years, are they looking at another fairly mediocre deal here ?
