Fair point about the return compared to avextra lol the problem being this SP now and going forward is more about sentiment than NAV ..and if they don't produce some good liquidity events the sp could drift back making avextra return look red hot 🤣 I think we're on the same wavelength tho

I'm more optimistic currently but the buyback ro me smacks of desperation...we should be able to achieve 5/10x returns and the buybacks won't achieve thst will.they . I respect your opinion and agree to disagree ..and you still keep your Hest post award ..don't worry🤣

I understand what you're saying ..I just don't think it was necessary if liquidity events are forthcoming

If we have serious value adding liquidity events in pipeline there should be no need for the buyback..the recent sp increase is due to people expecting this buyback and once they sell into any further rise we will likely be back to square 1 where we could have had £850 k of real assets purchased for a future value adding liquidity event

Yes I understand that reefles but I believe the buyback is inflating the SP purely in the short term and without serious value adding liquidity events the sp will drift back down

For the record I've no issue with people trading, we're all here to make money, but being painted as a basher for questioning the logic of a share buyback for an AIM share that by the CEO own admission is a news driven ( and in recent past news barren) SP...really ??

My shares will be bottom drawer, we're a few years away from returning value to lth amd this buyback achieves little in my view to bring that date any closer . Real investments producing real returns ..not treats for flippers is what's needed ..not much to ask of £800 k a year ?

I think you miss my point, as a long term and continuing for long term holder, my frustration is with £850k of shareholders funds being used to buyback shares, which when all spent, to the advantage of recent and short term flippers, in the absence of significant and by thst I mean much higher than historical liquidity event returns the sp will drift back to where it was in my humble, were supposed to be an investment company and there's s dire shortage of funds out there n rather than capitalise on our position our highly paid management are attempting the lazy shortcut route which will end us back at square 1 minus £850k for this year n quite possibly more next

£800 k for all of them and admin obviously not just Ed but at that kinda money I'd expect them to know how long a buyback takes to arrange given their various backgrounds
