Last week I posted "From a charting point of view this is just a pullback before the next leg up.
Assuming no news it could drift to 74, then 67 ish, before continuing the upward momentum."
This got a frosty reception, but alas, because of no news we are here. It wasn't a negative post, but a positive one.
Just because it has retraced, it doesn't mean it's not a good thing, most stocks do this.
We just need a good RNS to change everything, then everyone will be smiling.

Many times whilst I've been investing ,the sp takes a sharp dip before good news, then all is forgotten.
imo just the Pro's loading up for the news then ready to make a quick buck.

I made a suggestion and said "could" and not "will" or "are".
I was trying to point out that making definite statements can cause people to lose money if they are not true.
By looking at Fib no.s it gives possibilities, which also can be blown out of the water if good news comes.

As MrST is pointing out, I want one to move before the other to maximise the potential.
If they both blow together then its good so it's a win/win situation.

Looks like Miton happy to sell around 150, so they have around 9m left to sell imo.

Assume 20% of all trades are theirs, ,
need 50m turnover of shares to do this,
since 9th there has been around 10m turnover,
so need few good days of vol with a good RNS, then its pop imo.
Will be happy to be wrong and it shoot up earlier

Yes 150p seems to be a stubborn level to get past (tried numerous times recently and compounded with Miton). Once it does 200p should be quick. Just need some news on one of the fronts that's positive. glalth

Agree with OneKnows, no one helped AVCT to get test, cost of designing is expensive.
My view is that until the market is saturated then AVCT should charge as much as they can.
If tests are £3 and £1 profit is made, then selling for £5 means £3 profit, so only have to sell a third as many to achieve the same profit.
All depends on supply and demand and we all know demand is the controlling factor at the moment.
