Given the sizeable machinery investment and the production increases quoted in the RNS's, should I be anticipating a big uplift in revenue?

Given all the new variables, commodity prices, increased costs etc - it's quite a task to even have a guess!!

Well, personally, I would have liked a new NEC as the present incumbent has been a failure.

That said, a marketing agency will take some pressure off Suzy and the board.

Also, I hope the knowledgable Dr Hargreaves continues to provide a broader commercial perspective regarding the quality, marketability and technical aspects of the Valirx portfolio.

Not the progressive RNS we all wanted, but a step in the right direction.

My "far better half" took Methotrexate for a month to combat early stage spondyloarthritis.

She had to halt the treatment due to horrible side effects, bless her.

She's now on Sulfasalazine which is making her extremely fatigued. It looks like biologics for her next.

Hopefully SAR have a key to unlock treatment for immune disorders - hence our investment here.

I keep her updated with the science (as much as my understanding allows!) from the fantastic research on this board from you, Citizen and others.

I find myself agreeing with you (!) re: new board members.

We have a poorly performing NEC, with a track record of delivering nothing but a badly timed fundraise, a yankee doodle dandy and a frivolous broker appointment.

Entrusting him to help run a new strategy seems to be an ill-fated plan.

New, dynamic NEC's/NED's are needed.

Depsite Dr Cox's lengthy tenure as non exec chair the legacy programme is no further forward. We've also endured the TRX debacle and, as a result, a hefty dilution.

Management platitudes don't excuse their culpability.

You wanted views, so here's mine;

It's time to replace Dr Cox.

Rhubarb's posts seem to be shifting the narrative towards the promised land of the new evaluations and avoids the culpability of the BOD for the disastrous fundraise.

Dr Cox has failed to get a single deal over the line during his tenure. His Bio reads "extensive experience in strategy, corporate development, M&A, financing and joint ventures".

If he can't deliver against his remit for the legacy drugs then I don't expect he'll be any more capable at negotiating Special Purpose Vehicles (or similar) for newly evaluated products.

It's interesting that Rhubarb met with Suzy and Mark, where was Dr Cox?

I wonder if we'll get some news soon, perhaps a Microsalt contract or the Lucyd IPO confirmation.

I feel sure that Cliff will want some news to stimulate interest in his presentation.

I just don't see the 201 "boom".

Firstly, the upfront payment is a modest 2.2 million dollars and 201 is still a long way from being monetized.

Secondly, 201 had decent results, but in a very small cohort of patients.

Thirdly, there will be plenty of 10p investors taking profits at 15p and 20p.

Fourthly, TRX haven't covered themselves in glory so far, who'll be buying into their track record?

Against the background of a poor macro economic climate I can't see the Valirx SP exploding.

That said; we've plenty of other irons in the fire, cash in the bank and Suzy's new strategy.

I think we're in for a longer wait than some like to admit.

Thought I would topslice some profits and top up in VAL today after three of my investments issued stonking RNS's this morning;

KZG - Mining licence granted
SAR - 1801 CTA application
TEK - latest NAV well in excess of current SP.

Yet they've hardly moved.

I'm beginning to think even if we get a 201 deal the markets will just say "meh".

It's bloody hard to make a profit at the moment.

"Fourfold increase in production expected in Q4"

My view is output will increase as further investment and machinery comes on stream.

Some good signs here.

I've been very critical of this LOI, but the problem for me is not Suzy's perceived error of judgement.

The issue is that I no longer trust these secretive Yanks with our asset(s).

I simply don't believe that TRX have the capacity to expedite a clinical trial in a timely manner, nor are they capable of delivering the regulatory reports required to approve a new drug.

Come on Suzy, the time is right to outline a Plan B (at the AGM) for shareholder consideration.

Had the same problem myself with an old Final Salary pension.

I don't blame IFA's, it's the FCA's ridiculous rules that are very restrictive - so much for pension freedoms!
