The project may be of "NATIONAL IMPORTANCE" as you keep banging on about but surely that's tied in with the refinery under construction rather that the prospect of selling some oil to China?

Maybe the new ministry responsible could just turn around & say "OK we agree production from Heron but we're not comfortable with the trucking solution for transporting oil. So you'll have to wait for the pipeline"?

At this juncture that outcome is as likely as not.

Why should the SP rise on the run up to V1 spud - the odds of it being successful don't change?

Everything rich says is "just his opinion" he knows as much or as little as the rest of us, only what's in the RNSs & they don't always tell the whole truth!

Heron workover will only take 2 weeks & the equipment and crew are ready to go!

I "assumed " there would be cash raise earlier this year (there was).

I "assumed" that the most recent RNS would come last Monday (it did).

I "assumed" that the SP would would slide if it didn't confirm Heron permissions (SP did slide).

I also "assume" that no Heron oil will be sold this year (with or without the LP) & that there will be a further cash raise later this summer!

But then my assumptions are invariably wrong aren't they!

It was a given that if the recent RNS did not announce the start of production from the Heron field (or even the fact that production COULD start) then sentiment would turn to the downside.

Are contracts in place (or being negotiated) for China to buy all this oil & PC to transport it?

So WOS - when do you think the first sales of Heron oil will be & how much revenue do you think it will generate in 2023? (Be honest!)

How many of the big investors here are invested in Mike Buck rather than MATD? If Buck WERE to resign or drop out for some reason (health issues maybe?) would they still have confidence in MATD?

Quite a few on this BB claim (I believe them) to have millions of shares. To believe that PM is going to create multiple millionaires for doing nothing more than investing a few quid is truly cloud cuckoo land. hoot hoot!

I'm not an oilman but someone said that Heron was like dipping a straw into Petrochina's oilfield. IF they are connected & PC's reserves are dwindling maybe there isn't as much oil to be got from Heron as estimated.

Without production from Heron (this year!) there will have to be more cash from somewhere & a lot depends on an early & viable strike at Veloc. So it's looking like a 5/1 gamble at present. Could go either way from here.

I feel terribly disappointed but totally vindicated - so "up yours" WOS/master/iamrich/vikinglass etc.
