Most of the stuff on here is pure supposition due to the lack of news from the company & the clandestine intentions of the GoM.

If I was GoM (perish the thought) I would want to know there is deffo oil from Velociraptor etc. before selling off the proven Heron oil.

Anyway tomorrow's RNS will clear up all the doubt, suspicion & confusion won't it? Sunny uplands await.

One reason might be that GoM want to reserve the oil for their own use. Happy to let PIs continue funding PM operations.

What idiot would spend time & considerable amounts of investors' cash prospecting for oil if the powers that be can turn round & say "Thanks for that but you can't extract it!"

The inference that if GoM doesn't "do right" by PM then other companies won't invest in Mongolia is a fallacy. Companies will go there because there's resources to be exploited. They'll just make sure they have a cast iron agreement.

Doc - I sometimes have a reset and unfilter everyone then start the process again as and when I see fit. Sometimes I will unfilter just one person if I want to see what someone else's response to them was about.
