Totally understand your skepticism. Casp moves on very little volume so it’s ideal to manipulate. A sustained rise will only come from actual news. Having said that I can’t see why anyone would pay so much over unless they were in a hurry.

Cheers for the research ade, The barge was built for a reason. They obviously thought it was worth spending the 200m on a land locked drilling ship. Not many trades to watch Adrian but there are a few nibbling. If oil keeps doing its thing hopefully a partner will be more forthcoming for the deeps.

Uncertain wouldn’t the buyers of the licenses organize how they were going to drill before buying the license? As mike said building an island isn’t viable. Would Casp rns if a company had taken an option to rent the barge?

If the appeal is successful could we get a rebate? If we don’t owe the money then previous payments were erroneous?

So if they get the amount we owe reduced the Mjf drilling can resume? Roll on the end of the month.

Goes to show the sp is so battered any random news and it does 20%. Imagine what good news will do? Also shows how a few K of buys adds millions to our market cap. It doesn’t take much volume to move the sp.. either way.

Uncertain, I did indeed say that and I think oil has rebounded much faster than anyone expected. As others have said Mjf should be keeping our lights on, and any positives from any other angle would be very welcome with the current depressed sp. With no news the sp is free to drift on small sales. Investors need a reason to buy and it’s up to Caspian to supply a reason.
