I think it will be a special dividend and a share buy back, nothing the press likes more than bashing thieving banks and if lloyds announced a huge dividend they would get flak. A buy back is a disguised way of returning money to shareholders.

Buying tesco would be pocket change for Amazon and if they’re serious about getting into British grocery market Tesco would be an ideal acquisition.

The new man has an easy job boosting sp, he has excess capital to play with. Buy back, boosting divi, special divi? If you hadn’t noticed lloyds is raking it in and the sp is already depressed. As long as the economy behaves itself he will struggle not to raise the sp.

What money in there? Where is the money coming from to fund the drilling? Let alone pay a dividend.

Surely 802 must be a deep, it’s too much for a shallow well so what else could it be? Partner incoming?

Alex I believe we will either start to see sp appreciation post split or change of management. They know they have to deliver.

That has to be positive, they’ve got to announce 802 formally, a strategy going forward centered on monitising Mjf would help the sp IMO.

Totally agree it won’t happen for a while but Smiths is now more specialized so more attractive.

When you buy or sell shares it’s because you disagree with the current sp, I think the market is undervaluing Fres so I bought again this morning. We get aid for our patience with the dividend.

I was very pleased with the results, I don’t sell shares because the market doesn’t react the way I expect. I’m interested in the business not the share price. I will be buying more.

On the plus side though they might have some news that they thought would be ready but isn’t quite there, so delaying release of answers. Straws:)
