Been holding at a loss from 29 pence for a while but almost tripled my holding at an average of 20 pence so in profit for a change.
Oil up, Asia up, US up, vaccine news, Uganda sale, cost reduction, what’s there not to like!
Oh yeah......Shorters.......but now I like them ‘cos they gotta buy them shares back especially Pictet :o) 28 pence by Wednesday like I said and 30 pence by Friday.

Might take 2 years but is possible. Never say never!

There will be some Short positions in profit over 30 pence. If these make the decision to take their profits rather than risk a spike in the share price reversing their gains this will also be good.

Expect the same here!

Writing was on the wall.....TLW IMO 28 pence by Wednesday.

As explained, Fund managers are paid to look forward and there are many vaccine trials which are due to release updates way before year end. Whilst it is likely to be a wait for immunisation, especially in poorer countries, this is why Shorters will be looking very carefully at whether their strategies should be reviewed. This vaccine news will open a floodgate to the real possibility of life returning to normal next year and as a result a broad stock market rally from here is almost a cert.
Pictet adding a mere £300k short will not be enough. profit taking from lows will always result in pull backs but when the penny drops, in our case an upward trend, they will be forced to capitulate.
Half the short positions were taken IMO because they thought the Ugandan sale would fall through. Don‘t let MMs bully the market and you sell your shares on these dips . Be warned!

A good Monday for TLW looking likely and any further vaccine news would be good.

Agree 25th can’t come to soon. Hopefully, some SP headway in the run up.

Watch the MMs tease the share price up to get the suckers selling. Then rinse repeat.

There is definite shift in investment decisions being made due to the encouraging Pfizer vaccine and if the AstraZeneca vaccine proves encouraging as well the oil shares prices will rise another 50% on future fundamentals. MARKETS ARE FORWARD LOOKING!

If my calculations are right, Shorters own roughly 100 million shares, so 24 million quids worth. So if I’m right and TLW increase on further news by 50% their investment will be pretty decimated.

Don’t you have to feel sorry for them, no! It’s bear time.

Their well is just East of Kanuku, level to about the middle (North to South) of the entire Kanuku area and next to Maka Central-1. Far enough to make no difference to the likelyhood of finding oil & gas or not. Just the whole area is considered a good prospect.
Tullow Oil plans to drill the Goliathberg-Voltzberg North prospect in block 47 offshore Suriname in 1Q 2021 but has not yet issued a rig contract.

Don't fret over Deutsche Bank new 35p ..... let's not forget they were estolling AML virtues only in February 2020 with a BUY to 600p. These guys earn money whether the share price goes up or down. At the current price AML are a hold at the very least.
All AML need is a bit more good news IMO to head back to 75p.

Well, well. What a day. I've decided after watching from 30 pence to jump in at 70 pence.
Volume of 51 million shares traded today! On 11th June 2019 a mere 536k of shares were traded. Granted the shares were a hello f lot more expensive.
Brand is worth at least 2 billion.
Top performaning CEO.
New car.
Markets starting to re-open.
So, anyone who wants a lower price than this close is going to be lucky.

Should have listened to the folks on here and noise on why oil is now 40 dollars and that TLW will be generating cash. The shorters had hoped TLW was going to fail but the realisation is the opposite. Did say after a month on of bouncing around between 22 - 27 pence they were due a re-rate upwards of 30 pence. I have a sell at 38 pence. Only because that gives me a generous profit, not because I don't think they will continue towards 75 -100 pence in the next 12 months. Mark my text!

Why have some short term holders sold into this small spike?
TLW been around 22 - 27 pence mark for at least a month, when I predicted they would hover around 26 pence for a while. Now they will start a climb to above 30 pence IMO. Sellers beware!

20 pence soon. Oil is tanking down.

When are we getting to 20 pence?
Without BareBack we would already be there being able to get in at a lower price!
Perhaps those invested should sell so the waste of space loses loads.
