Bertie: Depends on share purchase cost but assuming you buy 10,000 shares at 32 pence, pay stamp duty £16 and commission of £8 so totalling £24. Sell at 33 pence and pay £8 commission. You make £100, difference between buy and sell, less the £24 and £8 so £78 profit.
With 100,000 shares a hefty £780 could be made each time.
However, miss a big rise and have to buy back and can hurt the pocket.
